It began raining last night and stopped here about 10:30 am today. It is supposed to rain tomorrow too. That coupled with the fact that I have no heat is making typing very uncomfortable.

No more rain today so far. My manager is coming over about 6:00pm to turn on my heat. However, he said if I turn in a complaint about him to the Health Department or Code Enforcement, he'll evict me. So I guess I'll be keeping silent.

Unfortunately, I can't blame my cold apartment or the rain on Moi. Heheheh

Why not? I certainly never let logic keep me from blaming everything on Moi before.

PS There no renters rights groups or anybody you can go to about that jerk? His balls should be hanging out to dry after the rain quits.

Experience says that a landlord waits a few months, trumps something up and then give notice. Or decline to renew lease, give notice. Easily done. Prove it was payback. Not always that easy.

it was nice and warm for my night shift work at the airport in Maryland 50 degrees as a low is downright warm for February.

Thought of that, however, this apartment did not come with an oven. The manager promised to get me an oven a year ago but never did.

Thank you Paolo, you just gave me an idea. I'm going to turn on they toaster oven and leave the door open.

I think it's time you looked into assisted senior living programs. This dick is taking advantage of you.
