-We do, but, sadly, during that day I worked.

We did not need you to tell us it was hot, we live here, every summer it does this a couple times for a week or so. You just fill up your mug with the thing you like the most and head outside and enjoy it, take it in, bath in it because you know its not going to last. Last night I was visiting my neighbor when it started to sprinkle 100% humidity unlike you fair weather types who would have run for cover (actually you would not even been out side) we sat there and enjoyed the moment.

Moi, don't you ever get tired of it always being the same? BORING. If it rains you get mud slides and the new house down the street slides into the ocean. If it gets to hot you guys bitch like its the only place in the world that its ever happened to, when it gets cold the world is coming to an end, you see Moi, the people here in the mid west are tough people, they take what comes and move on. Its not a big deal, really.

fhunter, sorry you missed your day of Summer. At least you are on the left coast and not the one on the right.

Is Russia ever going to invest in their right coast? Does Vladivostok have all day electricity yet or still decaying?

Minnesota may have coastline, it is the volume of water they lack with a dash of salt and surf.

Our weather is not always the same, sometimes it is 74F and sometimes 72F :D

River, you are well aware that fewer people get displaced from a California mud slide, earthquake, etc. then one of your "heartland" style disasters. We just get more Smoke Screen press. Or more press per house then non Californians.

BTW I do like to walk in rain and storms and especially to be by the ocean at such times.

Finally, "The Weather" is always there and if we are not discussing anything else, there is always the weather. :D

It was a joke.

In reality - it is pleasantly warm here, today was 25C or so, warm enough. And not too hot, anything hotter than 30C here is too much. A bit less rains would be better, but anyway.

As for the right coast - I do not know. Somehow I feel, that China would invest into it. Maybe. After assimilation.

I do not have firsthand evidence (haven't been there).

It was 33C all day today and thanks to a rainstorm the low will be 23C

For those of you who are metric dummies 92F and 74F

fhunter, you guys need the water, don't you. Hasn't there been a relative drought as helped create that firestorm around Moscow a few year back.

Dave, you forgot to mention the "feels like" temperature with all that humidity.

Me? I'm comfortably at 75F with air conditioning at about 50% humidity.

Ask me tomorrow night after I go to get my hair cut.

Moi, you can't drink salt water, reminds me, 'water, water everywhere and not a drop to drink' We have water water everywhere and its all for drinking. You realize of course that Wisconsin is boarder to two of the largest fresh water lakes in the world?

As for the weather, it was 100f today, the dew point at 80+ which makes it feel like 110 or higher. For those of you who don't know this, the heat index what it feels like not the actual temp. Like the wind chill in the winter, well let me tell you, ITS HOT.

Oh, suck it up.

If it's 100F+ at the MoM, I may be wearing shorts!

I'm so sorry. It might have hit 72° today in Portland, and this was one of our warmer days this week.

Asking. Less insulation on your head?

Did you successfully navigate through the thermotron particle storm.

:D

Gravity - Graviton particles

Heat - Themotron particles

Time - Chronoton particles

Lots of particles if you believe. ;)

I'm partial to the Higgs boson myself.
