Hooray, I feel like a responsible citizen. I just payed Southern California Edison $200.00. That's good, right? MacTheWolf cries.

Hehehehe

Murphy's Law strikes again - a friend sent me an electric blanket from Colorado. Yesterday, it was supposedly to be delivered to my house number which is 264 but, it went over one block to 364 instead. I walked over to 364 just now and asked about my package. The occupants say they received no UPS delivery.

Alas scratch one electric blanket.

If it was UPS's fault have the sender file a complaint.

What size bed do you have? A heated mattress pad can also be nice. Of course do not turn them both up too high. I am not sure what roasted wolf will smell like.

As this was sent from Amazon.com, they will also have an option for it to be made good.

Definitely have your friend mark the AMAZON order as "unfulfilled" or "never received"...

It may take a few weeks but AMAZON will not neglect the customer.

I've had very few problems with AMAZON (I'm in "prime") and they do hunt down these bad deliveries.

Start your complaint with UPS... They will send the driver out to pick up the package from where he left it.. I have seen that happen before. If that does not work, then complain to Amazon and they will send a replacement.. Amazon wants happy customers. Happy Customers make for more business.

If nothing else, put a padlock on your door and lock it when you're out. You can install that with a screwdriver. If she breaks into the room when it's locked, you can charge her with burglary, even though she lives in the house. If she breaks through a locked door, the police should get involved.

OBB, tonight, in chat, I'll get the tracking number from my friend Sweetpickle and then do as you suggest :)
