Day 3 08:15 Testicle had no pain no swelling, I injected another 1ml of 96.5% Vodka into left testicle. It went in easily, no pain.

Immediate dull ache in testicle good feeling knowing the alcohol is doing its work.

08:30 took 2 Co-Dydramol tablets.

Testicle is immediately tender again.

I tried to video it with my phone, but it only got the first second or so….useless….next time.

The next 2 hours will tell me a lot.

08: 38 Slight increase in ache and feel a little nauseous, could be the adrenalin….., Nothing uncomfortable.

08:45 Checked the left testicle, a slight swelling, the ache is increasing a little not as much as the first injection. Slight ache below the kidney/hernia area once again slight and bearable. testicle getting tender.

09:35 Ache is consistent and testicle tender.

09:52 This is bearable and not as bad as the first injection.

Day 05 Left Injection number 3 00:05 Inspected left testicle there is a slight lump or hard area where I did the previous two injections and the testicle is slightly swollen by about 10-15% no pain.

Injected 1ml of 96.5% into left testicle on the opposite side of previous 2 injections. It all went in easily

Slight pain testicle after wards from needle, slight ache in left lower inguinal to kidney

Took 2 co-dydramol for pain and anti-inflammatory

00:17 Slight ache in hernia area

00:27 very mild ache in left inguinal/hernia area, testicle not at all tender or painful. Feel I could inject more. Very different to after previous 2 injections

00:50 Very comfortable very mild ache in testicle and left inguinal area.

07:00 No Pain No discomfort… ready for more. Maybe I need to increase the dose

Day 05 08:50 Tried to inject another 1ml into left testicle go.40ml in, tried in another place and met resistance aborted.

No pain, mild awareness that a needle has been in.

Patience, I am trying to do too much too quickly.

I need to slow down and take a couple of days break. Looks like the testicle is full and won't take any more for a while that is just 3.40ml over 3 days. It goes to show how different we all are in the cliche:- our mileage varies......

I have learnt that my regimen of injections every couple of days of 1ml has been ok but now after 16 days I need to slow down as the tenderness and swelling is taking longer to dissipate.

At the moment both testicles are very heavy and slightly tender, except when I knock them or sit in a certain way and then it is very painful. I am surprised that they feel so hard and heavy.

My journey to freedom from testosterone started, I can't believe it, two years ago. I injected more than jcat is injecting, but much less often.

Usually once every 7 to 10 days, or not until all tenderness was gone.

The process took much longer than I expected. I Stopped regular injections after six months. Did occasional injections for the next six months.

Change kind of sneaked up on me.

Seemed like nothing was happening, then one day, like when you look at your fingernails, or hail, or grass in the front yard, you realize, change has happened.

Then, eventually, it dawned on me I was not feeling sexually aroused at things that use to arouse me in an instant.

Then I was not getting night time erections.

Then I no longer needed or wanted to jerk off.

Then when I tried to, it was difficult, then almost impossible, to get an erection.

Now, two years later I just realized recently that my balls have continued to shrink.

They are about the size of small green grapes and they are withdrawing upward into the groin.

I look and feel like the ball free person I have always wanted to be.

It is not risk free. It worked for me.

But just because me, or others, have personal success does not mean that past performance in others will yield positive results for you.

Never let anyone convince you to do this.

It must be a deep seated long term need and personal decision.

Even then, in all medical matters One must use sterile procedures.

Injection must not be into none of the wrong places, and hope that lady luck is on your side.

On the positive side, I have seen no post of a catastrophie, and only a couple of posts by people who have simply gotten a minor infection that was cured with antibiotics.

Thanks Nullorchis for your concise summary and wise words. Everyone is different and therefore one needs to monitor progress carefully. I have learned a lot in the last few days and recognise the need to listen and feel what my body is saying to me. One thing is for sure this is not something to be undertaken lightly and without due consideration.

As an after thought. One of the things to consider too is that we all heal at a different pace. Therefore, the EA saying that 'your mileage may vary' is as true here as about anything else and the gap between injections required will vary from person to person. For me, the only way that I can gauge it is to wait until there is no tenderness when I feel the testicle between my fingers.

I also note that when I do this the overall post injection ache is less.

Nullorchis, I agree with you. The change does seem to sneak up on you.

I have finally gotten my T level to 48 after injecting for a year and a half. No sexual desire. One testicle is shriveled up(atrophied) My urologist has suggested removing it as an option. He wants to see me to discuss my options. I believe he wants me on replacement therapy. If he wants to remove it, I am going to tell him I want both removed so there won't have to be a second time.

Is there a T level that is considered castrate level? I don't think it would be zero since the Adrenal gland produces testosterone.

You are fully at castrate level.

You should ask you doctor to prescribe an ultrasound, if he hasn't already done this, to see if there are abnormalities in you testicles that might make it easier for him to agree to remove both of them for being possibly cancerous.
