A lot of the people (including me) taking HRT have reported that it is NOT the same as having your body produce Testosterone on its own. There can be a significant drop in libido and/or in sexual functioning. --FLO--

You can still remain highly sexual after castration, however, you might not feel quite the same using HRT. There's a pattern or cycle of testosterone release that occurs in the male body which cannot be completely duplicated by HRT, and therefore you sense some difference. For me, I use testosterone (HRT) in the morning and gradually over time it dissipates and therefore my sexuality seems to diminish. This was more true after I was first castrated, now my body has adjusted. I've got a low sexual desire today.

Will those going to Dr. A please inquire while you are there if he will remove the glans of those already castrated...please.

I sent two messages to Dr. Arnkoff about having my scrotum removed but have not had a reply back I've been castrated about 5 years now. I'm sure he is busy so I'll wait a few days before I try calling

I spoke with Dr. Arnkoff on Oct. 4. He seems very professional and helpful.
