The heat and high humidity around here have been perfect for starting the Jackfruit (look it up) trees. --FLO--

Never seen it before. Interesting! Have to see if the upscale markets there have it.

We have four of them started in a pot that takes up most of the downstairs bathroom. When they get too big we will donate them to the conservatory, if I can find a way to move them. We got a section of Jackfruit from the asian market. The seller didn't know the name in English so I had quite a time figuring out what it was. They grow really fast one gained 3 or 4 inches while I was gone for a few days. --FLO--

As I said elsewhere -- Today it is raining cats and dogs and puppies and kittens, bunnies, baby bats, tiny moles, and certainly buckets. The only good thing about it is that the lawn was mowed yesterday (I'm cursed The instant I text the lawn service that the lawn needs mowed, it rains for three days) and the back gutter isn't overflowing which means it is clean and not clogged.

If you really want to get depressed about the summer heat, use this - http://www.wpc.ncep.noaa.gov/html/heatindex.shtml

Just under 80F with humidity of 80%+ :-\

There is a moist system of air from ole Mech-hico that is known for bringing a

monsoon season to southern Arizona.

It is that humidity that is slopping over the border into California by the sea.

Definitely need better border control to keep the humidity where it belongs 📢

Days of Gray and stagnant atmosphere

very polluted 'cause oxides of sulfur and oxides of nitrogen plus H2O

is Sulfuric Acid and Nitric Acid or some such give or take an "O" oxygen.

There were hours of such brisk breezes that brought the salty smell from the ocean a mile away.

Since it has become "Green" between Moi and the sea, the salty smell requires a brisk breeze.

It has all yielded to clearer skies in the late AM after an appropriate marine layer blocks a too early sun.

The temperature remains sub 80F throughout the various atmospheres.

No Fires near me nor their influence. I don't even see the orange sky of a fire anywhere.

One year I was surrounded by 3 fires so - boy was I smoked in. It rained ash although I was not threatened.

Got Weather

Or

Got Something Better to Share?

OFBK, Old Fat Black Kitty just came in from the outside world to use her kitty box. What a lady.

Reaching an age where she isn't really "fat". I figure her 14 years old or more.
