It's water, water, everywhere...

Lots of rain today. Like lots of rain damn near a biblical flood...

There are flood warnings all over east of me and down into West Virginia following the mountains.

All those little creeks and streams that feed the rivers just have to drain when the ground is saturated.

And the ground is saturated with water.

Don't blame an imperfect science for poor blizzard forecasting.

Blame the <doom> Federals <Darth Vadar breath sounds> involvement.

Doctor George often included his own forecast against the "governments".

Guess who's was more accurate. The Federals forget about the "Catalina eddy".

No blizzard here. Sure enjoy the stories of not rain, not snow, but ice.

The morning after an Ice Storm was amongst the prettiest things I have ever seen.

All crystalline and glistening.

Snow today, 2" - 3". I didn't have to work, so I have not went outside. I could easily become a recluse.

It sure seems my countryman to the East of Eden, that's Salinas y'know

have been blizzard light so far. Less precipitation too.

Will barge traffic on the ole Mrs. Sipp. hold up to lowering waters?

As a river pilot I can tell you that river traffic is already greatly reduced and is probably going to be reduced even more as winter goes on. Next summer does not look good, either. --FLO--

Uncle Flo Wow!

A River Pilot. Does your license include oceans too, or a license just for fresh water.

Anything to learn from Mark Twain?

I will pray for heavy precipitation in the areas of Kristoff and River.

Pray to raise the rivers.

;)

15 minutes after the above upload.

Madison Wisconsin, near Kristoff & River land got blizzarded by a near perfect storm heading towards Bob3 Ex-BFF who uses his extra precipitation to desalinize the Atlantic conveyor.

It just sounds like it is a storm of misery without really heavy precipitation.

Good Luck Uncle Flo. I pray to raise your river. Not "the River".

In the endless flat, white, dry dusty snow - are you sure.

Thinking "Fargo".

BTW did you get precip to help Uncle Flo down the river?

:)
