If NBC News is to be believed, EA Central is Blizzarded
With Dave and Bob3 Ex-BFF due to get theirs.
How deep is it? The white stuff I mean
All sorts of screaming, crying, yelling, and pissing of diapers. But then, I hate weathermen and wish them ill...
It's cold out there. Snowed late last week but only about 3 inches of light stuff.
It was melting snow all over today because I went to the symphony and walked through slush and wet. . .
Tonight it's supposed to start raining. It's 29 degrees F tonight. By 6am it's suppose to be 36 degrees F and rainy, by 5pm tomorrow it's supposed to be 46 by 5pm.
Bah humbug.

Wonderful snow storm, light fluffy snow, My dog went out to do her thing and decided to run and play in it for a bit, rolling in the snow having a ball as it were.

Hardly the Blizzard advertised. Just more scare tactics, "The White Menace"
initiated by the Federals and their Weather Service and promoted
by responsible news outlets such as NBC.
River, when they say the "real" blizzard is coming and ALERTS advise you to
share warmth at the high school gymnasium, you gonna believe them? Store more wood for the fire?
Scare tactics desensitizes us to real alerts. Is it innocent or sensationalism?

Now it's +47F and raining with a projected high of 55. Warmer here than in California in some parts.
Unfortunately, I have to go out in it to head to work, when I'd rather stay here and hibernate.

I don't think that there is a grand conspiracy. It is just that weather forecasters get so criticism when they "get it wrong" that they always err on the side of the horrible. Then, if it does not happen they get criticism, too, but not nearly so bad as they do when they miss a BLIZZARD...
So, just for YOU ALL, my friends, because you are missing YOUR Blizzard... HERE is a LINK... (
http://www.dairyqueen.com/us-en/Blizzard-Fan-Club/) to the "Blizzard of the Month Club". They are having a special. Buy a Blizzard and get a Blizzard FREE!!!

I would rather have the warning, its better to be prepared then left out in the cold. I seem to remember tsunami warnings in Hawaii that were so often the people ignored them then they had one and it killed hundreds. No Moi, I would rather have the worst case scenario then a storm is coming and we don't have a clue and your on your own.
Moi its not a perfect science, its best guess based on past experiences.
Looks like we got another couple inches last night, I love the snow everything is white and clean.

I'm not impressed, A-1.
My wonderfully expensive 7 year battery just quit after 2.5 years, but my suspension is still holding together so I guess I'll drive right through it.

Right now my vehicles and yard are covered with a quarter inch of ice. The temperature is expected to be -16F by Friday morning when I am to leave on a trip of 200 miles to the north in my 21 year old van. Wish me luck! --FLO--

I've seen that van. Keep the duct tape handy.
