I will not have a map this year. Many people had problems using the map in the past. With the number of people that may attend the map may become a little hard to read. I will have a special mailing list that will go out to all attending or that post they have interests in attending. I just need a private e-mail so I can add you to the list. You can contact me through the message board.
As for the reason for attending I think once we nail down the weekend and location we will be able to have some better idea's of a reason. Some could be a health, business, convention of some type or even a sabbatical. A religious encounter with Sister Kirstoff may be questionable.
Anyone needing directions can contact me. I have virtually every major and ancillary roads and most surface streets in a 60 square mile area memorized. Side effect of driving all of them 200-300 miles a day....

I was reffering to the map where people showed where they were located in the country that were attending the MOM. Not the directions to the event.

I hope that I can make it this time. Last year there was just too much going on in my life to let me get away. I do wish it would be held a bit further south....

Jedi lightsabers are quite cool. Unless of course, you're on the business end of one. I use a General Kenobi model myself. Are we expecting Sith at the gathering or just some padawan training? haha

Keep me posted as to the dates and the whereabouts of the upcoming event. I would love to see all of you again and to have the opportunity to meet more members of this wonderful web site community.

The main gathering well be held August 8 - 9. The General location will be the Minneapolis/St Paul Minnesota area. The exact location will be sent by private mail to the attendees. You need to send me a private message to be on

FLL to MSP round trip is $298 (with tax, $249 before) from the cheapist source i can find, anyone know of a cheaper airline site?
That was leaving anythime on the 7th and returning the "any time of the day" on the 10th..
since it tends to extend all weekend and checked prices, basicly all i can find is the same leaving on the 11th or 12th..
and ack, bus is only $144, but trip time is 1d19h

Maybe we should have one of the places we meet have WiFi and our out of state Eunuchs can Video Skype in?
