I am not a body builder. But here is what I did.
I visited bodybuiding web sites and I found one that described how bodybuilders manage to LOWER their T level through exercise, diet, and nutrition (and alcohol).
Then they visit their MD, get a blood test, which yields a very low T level.
Bingo, they get a prescription for Testosterone.
They alter their diet, their natural T recovers, plus the prescription T, and they get "bulked up".
My natural T is low, but when I took TRT, I had unpleasant side effects.........although the side effects of not taking TRT were worse.
Anyway, through diet, exercise, and TRT I am currently stable and at a point that is to my satisfaction. I don't get tired, I exercise, I take all the T lowering food and nutrition (per bodybuilding web site) and I take prescription TRT.
There seems to be a balance of low to almost no sex drive, shrinking testicles, yet I have regained my energy, positive emotions, and mental clarity. I have few to no thoughts about/of sex and my body seems to be in a state of sexual neutrality.
This is just about where I wanted to be. Don't know if this will last, and if it will work for anyone else. Main thing is to not OD on anything (diet, exercise, nutrition additives, food, etc.). TRT is the only medication I take, everything else is natural. So far results are favorable.
