I don't want to hold out false hope, but in most cases of new HIV infection, the Viral Load goes sky-high and the T cell count goes down. After a little while your body adjusts and the load comes down and T cell count rises again. Then it tends to stabilise for a long time. As someone who has had the hatred virus since 1985. I think I can offer this advice even though I am not medically trained in any way. Apart from taking the meds religeously, and coping with the odd side-effects, I am still very well all these years later.
