Capitol of 3rd world. Now I remember why I left there. It's all coming back to me. --Loaded all my earthly posessions in my '78 Toy Celica and came back home.

Do some women cry when they orgasm? I don't think or know if I've ever brought a woman to orgasm before... ? heh.. eek.
The first time I was with my partner after a prolonged seperation I remembered the words to a song; "and in the fullness of love did weep". I could very easily have cried while I was in his arms. More from being emotionally overwhelmed than from orgasm.

I don't know, I have been to a Pentecostal prayer meeting before and you talk about orgasms and crying brought about by shouting and dancing, that's it. Funny thing is that the Mexicans and Hispanics sounded like they were trying to speak Latin and Greek and the Anglos and Blacks sounded like they were trying to speak German and Greek and then the Navajos and Indians I just never could quite figure out. But everybody had tears in their eyes and sweat on their foreheads and definately that orgasmic "look" in their eyes.

I was on Paxil for years and found that it virtually eradicated orgasms. It also tends to cause fluid retention, so my physician changed my prescription to
Effexor, 70 mg. I have found that it interferes with orgasms much less than Paxil did. They're still rather laborious and less satisfying than they were before I started taking Paxil for anxiety, but ANY orgasm is better than none.

I'm sorry to hear that and that WellbrutenXL didn't work.

Lex is one of the bad ones. Is your GP able to suggest any other type of drug??

I've used most of the major SSRI drugs. I have found Lexapro to be the most effective for me. I did not like Wellbruten because it was not effective against my depression. I still don't know that I am going to continue to use medications. We will see.

Blaise I know this is the worst place to suggest this but I had a period where my GP was almost sure I was mentally depressed and was going to start me on a run of SSRIs. Instead I was diagnosed with hormone issues. Thyroid or Testicular problems can give you symptoms of depression *Or close to it. Have you asked your Doctor for a complete panel?

Well back on medication and back to loss of libido and no orgasms.

But I am not depressed.

Oh, well.

After a few days, I have lost the ability to experience an easy orgasm--actually have not had any. It is a real loss.

Off meds again for financial reasons. Horny all the time.
