Many of you know that Matt (Luvpain) and I were extremely close. I became internet accessible in Feb or Mar, 2001. One of my first searches was "castration" and I came to Eunuch Archive where I met Matt. I shared with him that I was a Christian struggling with the identity of being Gay. He shared with me that he had the same problem. We grew closer are we shared our faith in Jesus Christ together with our desires to become Eunuch. I am going to miss Matt one supreme lot. We were so close together. But I know that absent from the body means present with the Lord. Matt's soul is in heaven today. God bless you Matt. You are going to missed by me till I get up in heaven someday.

Bobbie and Ralph,

I am dumb struck by the news. I don't really know what to say. 😵

I only met Matt once at the MOM meeting last June, but he made a lasting impression on me.

I sincerely hope and pray that he is in a better place as of today. My deepest condolences to the both of you, his family and friends.

This truly is sad news.

I had the opportunity to meet Matt in person once, and I really enjoyed the conversation he and I had. He struck me as a very nice person. I am glad I had the chance to meet him.

This is certainly a heartbreaking time for all those who knew him and loved him, and my thoughts are with each and every one of them.

Matt will be missed by many.

I, too, met Matt last summer in Portland, but all too briefly. My sympathy to his family and friends.

We do not know what happened to Matt. We found him not breathing when we tried to awake him Monday morning. I tried CPR but was not effective. We will have to wait and see what the coroner has to say. May be a few days for report. It looks like his funeral service will be here later in the week. Hoping for Wednesday, but need the release from the coroner. Matt’s parents have been with Ralph and myself all afternoon night. We will know more details as they are finalized. We all thank you for all the kind words given us.

I have not been able to read all the very kind words said today. Was and is still too much of a shock for me Ralph and his family.

His mother and father were at our house today working out arrangements. I did tell them of some of the words that have been said and very much appreciated by them. That is one family (Matt's) that really seems to know the importance this site and the friends Matt made over the years. I will pass on the messages when time permits.

From all of us we thank this site long good friends of Matt

I find this baffling; I do not know what to say, should there be anything one could say, at such a time. Too fast, soon, young.... I will remember you: little else one can ask after - remember me, please!

All loaded in the RV, EA Central was on their way to Hell, Indiana for summer vacation but as it turned out, our little foray equaled in measure to the towns namesake. Having driven close to 10 hours, my passengers were beat from watching cars on the freeway pass us by. After shopping for groceries, to last the weekend, we spent the first night in a local campground. The next morning after breakfast, we drove to Hell, Indiana’s local resort.

Never seeing the likes of Riverwind or Luvpain, we found a couple of strangers standing at the entrance gate awaiting our arrival. The original plan was to meet the evening before but the beginning of Hell weekend limited our movement once inside the city limits. In all reality, we were just plain late. Back to the smiling faces, greeting us at the entrance gate were Luvpain and Riverwind. This was beginning of a long and memorable relationship of ups, downs and who knows what else to call our association with Luvpain. Oh, least we not forget, River.

My last occasion to visit with Luvpain was Memorial Day Weekend. We spent some fun loving time in Wisconsin Dells. Luvpain, the ever-youthful train lover, ensured Bobbie, Ralph and I road a couple of miniature trains while camping that weekend. In all honesty, one of those miniature trains was quite impressive. Steam driven and accurate in most detail, I found a love for trains much like Luvpain’s, albeit at only one percent. It was fun to see the joy and happiness in his face while riding the trains that weekend.

Matt suffered from many disorders but that didn’t stop him from enjoying and loving life. He ventured into areas most would avoid. Look at his IAM page. I cannot think of one E.A. member who opened his heart as much as Matt or was that his wallet. I am not sure I know anyone who submitted as many pictures of body modifications as Matt. I don’t know anyone who spent as much money on goods at BME. I certainly don’t know anyone as proud of his body modifications as Matt. I can tell you some funny stories of our first meeting with Matt back in Hell. It wasn’t more than 5 or 6 hours after arriving in camp when out of nowhere he offered to show us all his body mods. There was no modesty in this young man, only pride in his accomplishments.

Soon Matt was more involved in the chat server than anyone ever expected. Computers were the love of his life and Matt contributed greatly to the improvement of E.A.’s lonely chat server. Many times over the years, as a chat server system operator, Matt made quite an impression on those lucky enough to engage his wit. Sure, there were times some folks had no clue to the underlying humor but once you knew Matt it was readily apparent.

I have so much to write about Matt, it will take time, a lot of time. Like most, I am truly shocked and saddened by his early departure. This event marks a new beginning and a definite end to one of our most colorful personalities here at the Eunuch Archive.

Rest in peace my friend. You will be missed and know our lives will never be the same.
