You would have to saw it to get it off, and the friction will burn the hell out of you cutting it with a grinding wheel. It could be soldered, but I would not recommend trying that. Perhaps you could heat sink (http://www.kpsec.freeuk.com/solder.htm) it to where it would not burn you. Or, perhaps you could solder it quickly enough and then immerse in water. (Ice water would not be necessary.) The trick would be to find a piercing ring that would not transmit heat very quickly. I am not a metallurigist, so I could not help you on that one. Therefore, if I were your friend I would get the acrylic ring. Keeping these things clean prevents infections. Make sure what you do does NOT make it pourous. Superglue is impermeable, so it should be the best.

Most of what you seek is only fantasy, and you certainly should seek some knowlegable person to guide you and to keep your fantasy and your reality realistically separated of you can get into some big problems real fast.

Remember, there is never much new under the sun. Mankind has been on this Earth for a long enough time to have discovered most of the possible perversions.

Just remember to play safe and try not to kill anybody or get yourself killed. Trust is a big part of the fantasy-reality that you are courting. Don't let a novice experiment on you or your bad day could last the rest of your life or even be fatal. Some of the so-called "Water Bondage" scenes on the net scare me to death, mostly because I know how easy it is to get into trouble because I have seen too many people do it and then I had to assist in the aftermath adjustment. I am sure that some are choking and swallowing water and it will just be a matter of time until somebody is killed (drowned) and that somebody will be a beautiful woman.

One fraction of a second of misjudgment or inattention at 70 mph on a motorcycle can result in death or a life-changing event. A bad rig in a bondage scene will involve the same physical forces as the motorcycle wreck with just as disasterous of a result.

about the only way i see it being possible to solder a piercing shut without doing some serious harm to the wearer, would be if the ring came with insulation of some sort...which would mean it would have to be installed on an existing piercing...and then have the jewelry changed after the piercing had healed...that said, i know of no such piercing jewelry on the market...but that's really the only way i could see something like that working.
