I had mine done by a Urologist that my GP suggested. I had it done because of Chronic Testicular pains, damage from a disease .

Sex is important to us and I use weekly injections of Testosterone Cypionate to maintain my male sex drive and to avoid depression, anxiety and other side effects that I had without it. Life is very good without the constant pains and I would guess our sex life is more frequent and feels as good or better because I don't have to worry about getting nudged the wrong way and being in extra pain for three days. I had implants put in and these have done wonders for my male ego. My natal ones were in sad shape.

My balls don't function any more since I crushed the cords. My wife enjoys sex and I am ambivalent about it now, so I arrange for a male friend to visit overnight every once in a while to keep her satisfied. I can still get turned on at times and have sex with her too, but not very often.

It varies based on who does it and a little bit on what type you have. You don't want to know how much mine did because Insurance paid for my pair and the Costs were rather insane.

Dr Bowers, Dr Alter and (I think) Dr Reed all quote a cash price. *They might take insurance I'm not sure.

Well I'll add my two cents. I became a eunuch a little less than a year ago though a medical complication. I'm married to a wonderful women, now here's where I'm a little different, I'm gay, I know strange but true. I still love my wife and she me but though, we are intimate, we don't have intercourse. Hope that helps.

Gary,

There are a lot of married gay men, it's not strange at all. I'm gay and was married for 20 years to a very good woman. When I came out, I was shocked at how many of my new gay friends had been married, or still were, many for a longer time than me. I thought my situation must have been very rare. It's not at all.

I am married to an amazing woman of 30 years. I became a eunuch November 2020. She drove me to surgery and waited until I was released. We have an awesome relationship. I have become much more focused on her. Hope all is well for everyone.

I have been married to the same woman for over 15 years.

I was castrated about thirty years ago.

She had a hysterectomy when she was 35 and has no interest in intercourse.

Because of her hysterectomy she suffers from vaginal atrophy making intercourse very painful.

I am completely impotent.

She says that I am a better lover than intact men because I put her sexual needs first instead of mine.
