That's intriguing :( but absolutely believable. Does anyone else know why this reaction happens? ❓

not for sure why that reaction would happen, but something similar happened to me.

I was on 200mg T per week and my doctor wanted to switch me to a transdermal cream. The compounding pharmacy and the Dr had a misscommunication and instead of giving me 200mg divided out over a week, they gave me 200MG PER DAY. With the aborbation rate at about 80% I was getting a mega dose.

My sex drive dissapeared on the 3rd day and by the 10th day I was so sick all I could do was ly on the couch. I was the one who figured out the mistake and on the 12th day discontinued the cream. It took 2 full weeks for my lvl to come back down to normal.

So yes I can totally see how that could happen. Being that you are naturally Hypo, your body never adapted to the higher lvl of T that most of us did as teens. It's a very powerfull hormone.

You might give a compounded cream a try, you could get that in a very low dose and build up from there. You probably would never need the higher lvls that many do, but you might get good results with a small amount.

Ouch, you too? I'm sorry you had to go through that.

But yes, when I was a teen, I barely had enough hormone to grow (light) body hair, and it was me wondering why I just wasn't interested in girls or guys that got me to go to that endo when I was 23 (maaannn did I ever regret that). 😲

Currently, I take low levels of herbal estrogen, phytoantiandrogens and cream progesterone in order to block T and avoid osteoporosis, and to help me achieve a degree of physical androgynity, and I'm one happy androgyne. :p

I took the second of the four testosterone shots this afternoon.

At the same time, I'm changing from Paxil to Lexapro. With that change, I feel down this week. I suppose most of the Paxil is gone. Lexapro has not yet kicked in.

I have no idea what testosterone is doing. I don't really feel much different with testosterone, except that I have more sexual thoughts than I did before the shots. And I can obtain mild orgasms.

However, just now, the change in medicaiton for depression confuses my moods. ❓ ❓ 📱

Almost two years after receiving testosterone shots, I do feel better. I have more muscle tone than I did without the shots. I am calm. I feel good. I never regained much libido--except just after receiving the shots, but that is okay. If I found the right relationship, I think that I could respond appropriately.

Andrew seems to have more action than I have, but then I no longer have a cat in the family. That is okay. I also have no litter boxes to clean. :D

I do not know whether I miss making love--that has not happened in more than 12 years, but I miss sharing life with a lover. I deeply miss that.
