They serve the same crap as they do in the US. I didn't see any signs of lutefisk, though I couldn't detect its foul smell if it was there (lost my sense of smell to Covid). Fortunately, I only eat McD's about once every 3 or 4 months, but only if the kitchen is depleted at home.

Don't know about Norwegian weed.

Never had Lutefisk, but I have had Icelandic rotted shark, which I'm told is similar...

My GF and I did a trip to Iceland, Scotland and the UK, and the Netherlands many years ago before I got hurt... We flew Air Iceland which I highly recommend, because of their doing hub & spoke out of Reykjavik, which breaks up the long flight and gives you a chance to stretch your legs. use a real restroom, and so on... They also let you stay up to 5 days at no extra air fair (smart business, as they bought a big chunk of the Icelandic tourism industry when they started making the offer)

Iceland is a very interesting place - the only spot in the world where you can DRIVE from Europe to North America... It has a very stark beauty and very friendly folks. Reykjavik is a very walkable city that also has some neat sculpture, I was particularly fond of the 'Tomb of the Unknown Bureaucrat' - good humor in that one...

Don't know about Norwegian weed.

Lows in the 50s, Highs most days mid 70s. People wearing jackets everywhere -- they think I am crazy because I just wear a T-shirt. It finally rained last nite in Bergen. Lasted about 20 miniutes. No big deal I only had to duck into a hallway in Bryggen for a few minutes. Had a beer and then back to the hotel. It was great.

In about an hour or so I am heading to the airport. Have to stop at the RoyalBlue office and get a refund of taxes on the stuff I am taking back to the US with me. Then off to Iceland, layover for about an hour, then off to Minnesota. It will be good to get back to Central Daylight Time. Central time and Norway time both show on the phone, which can sometimes be confusing after a quick look. The telemarketer calls didn't stop - of course, if I didn't recognize the number, I did not answer -- saved about 25 cents a minute telling them to F off.

When I was going to school in Wyoming, I can remember sleeping in my dorm room, with the window open, when it was -20F outside. We're talking cold enough that when you took a morning shower, and didn't dry your hair completely, it would freeze if you went outside.

I'd have the windows open mostly because the school installed radiators at the windows which had two settings, volcano and absolute zero. You barely opened the water valve, you were roasting. Turn it off, and you turned into an ice cube.

I think that dorm has been torn down or is soon to be, now.
