It is likely that a TG doc will be able to figure out a transition routine using drugs that are specifically intended for the purpose, as opposed to trying to tap into the side effects of a drug intended for a completely different purpose like Cimetidine (possibly something like the Lupron that I'm on now)

I appreciate how your posts are always thoughtful and caring. Thank you.
This possibility is two or three years away for me, minimum. In my case, Lupron would probably be completely unnecessary as my T was 125 when I went on TRT, which has caused significant testicular atrophy since 2015. My T would plummet if I went off it, probably well below 125 into the female range of 30-100. I would likely only need something to stop hot flashes, mental fog, and osteoporosis.
My PSA tests have come back normal, but I have told my wife that an abnormal PSA means "the boys" come off and I go on estrogen, which she is fine with. We've actually talked about splitting her E prescription if my T prescription was somehow denied.

Glad that it is working well for you, just be sure to keep a close eye on things like bone density... It might be worth asking your doc about SERM class drugs like ralaxofine (Evista) that are supposed to be as effective as T or E in protecting your bone health, but w/o the feminizing (especially boob growth) that comes with estrogen...

I will live my life the way I choose to live it, thank you. I do yoga every day, eat healthy 5 days a week, and take vitamins(calcium, b3, and daily multi). I have cut a bunch of things bad for bone health out of my diet as well. The Eunuchs back in the day lived a long time with no external hormones. I will continue doing me, if I end up having to take them, then I will.

Absolutely your choice, no argument from me... I'm glad that you sound like you are doing the right things in general, just suggesting that you keep an eye on things, i.e. by getting bone density scans on a regular basis...
Osteoporosis / Osteopenia can sneak up on you without any obvious symptoms until your bones start breaking or you start getting that senior lady hunchback... Incidentally I recall seeing a paper (I think it was somewhere in the non-fiction articles section) where they found the graves of a couple of the historical Chinese eunuchs, and did a forensic analysis on the bones - and found significant signs of osteoporosis.

When I came out to my primary care provider in fall of 2020. I talked to him about feeling in between. Little did I know that things in Minnesota were in the works to allow such a transition for non-binary folks. Just 3 months after I started seeing my therapists to get my letters of support, some medical text was changed allowing M to non-binary transition without hormones. I was refused at first by an out of state Dr that my case was sent to for approval. A day after I was contacted by an ally in blue cross blue shield that went to some meetings and got my denial changed to approval.
With that said as I chatted with my new pcp(my original pcp moved back to Germany before my orchiectomy) she asked how I felt about my hormones. I mentioned not wanting to take testosterone and that I was considering hrt. She asked if I was wanting to transition to female and I stated I didn't know. She then asked me something I was not prepared for, "Why don't you go without hormones and see when things feel right to then see about choosing." I have been enjoying being hormone free and enjoy my body slipping into its in between form. I have been hormone free for a year and a month or 7mo since my last reading of testosterone that was 30ng/dl. I am so glad my pcp was on board with me not going on hrt to start.
I agree, I think it's best to go natural after castration when ever possible. I don't plan on taking anything myself but if I have to it's going to be estrogen.

I am definitely not going back on testosterone, but I am weighing options with my pcp. I am glad she is willing to work with me. Good luck on whatever path you choose. After the testicles and testosterone is gone, you can figure out what is best. ❤

Do some research on vitamin K2 if your are worried about bone health. Most people don't get enough unless you eat 2 egg yolks per day. It keeps the calcium in your bones and out of your cardiovascular system.

Brief follow-up: After several weeks of finding nothing, I did find an article that seanthomas said was out there. "In between" in increasingly a thing. This is comforting.
It's a simple enough google search, so I won't post a link. "Possibilities for nonbinary hormone treatment" will get you close.

.
I tried doing the search Spookibus suggested, and found a few interesting links - a lot of articles on 'non-binary' as being frequent numbers of folks that didn't want to do hard-core male or female, although none seemed to use the 'eunuch' word...
Among the better ones -
https://www.gendergp.com/about/# They claim to be a global online TG support system w/ medical professionals, and so on, might be an online version of a TG center. They say they are global, but list pricing in GBP, and talk about working with NHS. No idea if they offer surgery....
https://www.frontiersin.org/articles/10 ... 01364/full A journal article talking about SERMs as an option for non-binary hormone care. Nice discussion of the various SERM's and what is known and not known about their use in NB folks, unfortunately a lot of it is informed speculation because the known research is basically on post-menopausal women and / or breast cancer patients, and we don't know how that might translate to others.
https://nonbinary.miraheze.org/wiki/Hormone_therapy A wiki for NB people, the article is a pretty wide ranging discussion on hormone therapy options for all flavors...
https://madgenderscience.miraheze.org/w ... odulators_ .28MTX.29 Another wiki that takes a more experimental approach - note the cautions... The main page points at a 'papers' section that claims to be a compendium of high quality trans-specific research....
https://www1.racgp.org.au/ajgp/2020/jul ... erse-patie An Australian guide to hormone treatment via a patient's regular GP... I'm also going to post this in one of the other threads where it's particularly relevant...
Hope folks find these interesting / useful

Thank you for the advice. I actually love eggs and my breakfast comprises of two large eggs and either cereal or fiber alternative! I will definitely look into k2 for when ever I get sick of eating eggs. ❤
