For those saying it didn't capture your own situation, what could have made it better and done more to do that? Keeping in mind this is something meant to gather information from as wide a group as possible.
I could see a follow-up survey at some point to better address things which may have been missed. I think this survey is a good start though. It may help answer if there are other questions which may need asking in the future, when it becomes obvious there is something missing.

there were questions where I wanted to answer "does not apply" because not answering may mean discomfort and the available answers were not really suitable for me. there were also some questions that don't come to mind now that I wish offered a place to explain. like am I straight, gay etc I felt the answer that came close didn't really come close enough.
but as I posted above, it froze up on me twice and I don't know if they got my answers and I don't know how much was left. I'd be happy to answer via postal service if anyone knows how that could be arranged.

I have written to Erik Wibowo about the problem of crashes. He suggested that I offer to send a Microsoft Word copy of the survey to anyone who had problems with the on-line version. If you send me a Private Message with an email address that will accept an attachment, I will see that you receive a copy. If the survey is then returned, I will make certain that all of your identifying information is removed before it is forwarded on to Dr. Wibowo to add to the tabulation.
Previous surveys have been influential in gaining recognition for eunuchs and the need for proper medical care. This one may help the cause even further. That is the goal.

I had no problems with filling it out. It was longer than I expected, but seemed quite thorough. There were areas that it didn't go into as much depth about as it could have, but I suspect there was a good bit of trying to balance depth vs. time needed to do it.
Also while I am sure that there will be every effort made to make it as anonymous as possible in any papers that come out of it, I am sure that at least in my case anyone who follows EA and sees the raw data will have no trouble figuring out that one set of answers came from me... (I'm not worried about it!)
I don't know how long the survey will be up, but if it is for a while and someone that answers it has a 'state-change' should they try to redo it , or otherwise let Jesus and colleagues know about it?

Finished the survey. Had some misgivings about some of the questions. Felt that they were asking the same thing in a different format. Checking to see if what we say is the truth.

As someone who works with survey data (not this particular one), how you ask a question is very important. If you want to lead someone to an answer, ask it one way... Want to lead them from it, ask another. Want it to be neutral, ask yet a different way.
Though I'm not sure I saw that in this instance, I could see where someone may think what you have. Still, with all its flaws, I'll take this survey. Once of the main arguments against eunuchs and nullos receiving care is there's no research. Yet the vast majority saying that would never bother to, well, do the research.

As of a couple of minutes ago, there were 75 completed responses to the survey. Of those who responded, 37 are castrated or nullified. The more responses, the better. If you read this and haven't responded yet, please do. If you have any friends or acquaintances who have any interest in castration (whether they're EA members or not), please consider asking them to respond.

Sorry, I am confused. Somehow, I thought it was for castrated or nullified, but 75 - 37 = 38. What is the story on the 38?? Fantasy? Interested? Have I missed something, which my wife will vouch is not unusual.
