The warm congrats are very welcome, This is day 3 the swelling is subsiding and I have quite a bit of bruising, I finished my pain meds last night I'm finding I don't need them anymore. I never had any doubts prior to the surgery maybe cause of my age 63 or maybe of the extensive research I did prior its something I knew I wanted, I had anastasia for the surgery. I wondered prior to the surgery what the nurses and aids thought about what I was doing, my wife was with me, I can't ask for more support she's wonderful maybe she's the reason why there is no doubt? My remaining years are going to be enjoyed by my wife and I our kids are grown were both retired this is something that we've been waiting for a long time. My we all find good health and longevity. Cheers

I am very interested with the reaction of your wife. When did you first tell her about your desires? Had you been married long? Did she know? I have friends who's children eventually came out as gay, but in each case we all pretty much knew long before their kids did.was it similar for her? Was it a relief for you, and her? It is awesome she is so supportive of you.

I told her during a casual conversation that I was going to rid myself of my scrotum I hated the site of it. It had become excessively large and uncomfortable. I am nongender, she has been aware that my sexuality differs from what's considered normal for 17 years of our 33 year marriage, we supports each other in all of our decisions. Soon I'll start my estrogen HRT which I am looking forward too, I desire a low dose therapy that will allow subtle changes over a long period of time. Thank you for your interest Cseriess I hope I have been able to help some

Thanks Nutsbegone. I think how we react to other human beings, and their views is fascinating.

I'm sure I'm not alone in asking if you have time to update us in your situation and how the procedure went.
