Without an erection I can not get an orgasm............................................

I wouldn't want to say anything stupid, but it seems to me to have read in a topic, that a guy who no longer had an orgasm after a castration, despite taking T, found a sexuality by reversing and while taking E.

I am not sure of this fact from a medical point of view, but I think in your case that would be an idea to explore.

Unless there is an underlying condition such as ED, castration does not preclude either an erection or orgasm. All castration does is reduce the need or desire for sexual stimulation and degrees vary between castrated men. Sounds to me as if there are some other issues you may want to look into.

What kind of other issues?

Consider the brain is the primary sexual organ. Any number of psychological or emotional issues could cause erection or orgasm problems. As far a physical goes, if you have ever watched transgender porn it's evident erections and orgasms are possible with shriveled non producing or missing testicles. Once again, absent of any other issues castration does not completely eliminate libido only diminish it. Nor does it have any affect on an otherwise healthy penis.

“Normal” T ranges can vary greatly between men. One man may feel great at 400 and another man have all sorts of issues at 400 and need 800 to really feel healthy. If you are taking an estrogen aromatase inhibitor, you could be driving your E down too far which can cause low libido, ED and other issues.

I like aspie_nico way forward. Never thought of chemical castration. Its not something to rush into. Not that I rush into anything. Wish I had had more courage when I was younger. So many things to think about. a strong supportive relationship would be of tremendous benefit.

Regrets, yea I have a few. I really wasn't anticipating the depths of depression that came with it. I struggled for a few years to go without hrt but eventually went on estradiol along with antidepressants. I have a beautiful wife but no libido so no real sex life to speak of. And I've gained about 50 pounds. While I would say that I prefer estradiol to testosterone, for me, the negatives of castration probably outweigh the positives.

You say you don't have a libido despite having an attractive wife, so what are the positive effects of castration for you?

As far as I have read, castration effects vary greatly between different men. Some get depressed and put on a lot of weight, while others cope with the loss of their testicles. It is also very dependent on a TRT. Castation is not the ideal solution for everyone. For me, the advantages of a castration clearly outweigh any disadvantages. But I can only speak for myself.
