Implantable chips and sensors are already here. My Dad has a pacemaker. Next to his bed is a wireless receiver. Every night while he sleeps the receiver reads his pacemaker and reports it's status to the computer of the company that made the device. Why? No idea. The doctor said the only readings the doctor uses are the ones they take from the pacemaker every 6 months at his checkup. Yet, my Dad won't turn off the device next to his bed.

There are new blood glucose monitors that are implanted in the abdomen. They read glucose levels every few minutes and can remind patients to take medicine, call emergency services if the patient is having a big problem and download live updates to the doctor.

There is a drug trial going on right now for psychiatric meds to increase compliance. A sensor is implanted in the abdomen just under the skin and can tell what chemicals are in blood. The meds are the same. In the pill is a tracer - an inert substance that can be detected by the sensor. If the sensor doesn't detect the tracer it uses mobile or WiFi to inform the doctor or public health department.

Go into a doctor's office with a suspected case of syphilis and the doctor will order a blood test to see if you have syphilis or not. However, the new protocol is to inject the patient with a huge time released does of bicillian (penicillin) in addition to ordering the blood work. Why? Two reasons. First, not every patient gets the blood draw and comes back for a follow up. Second, although a round of oral antibiotics is equally effective in curing syphilis, health departments know patients will often not take the pills once the symptoms of primary syphilis go away (the symptoms go away - not the disease) leaving the patient able to infect others for decades before secondary or tertiary symptoms appear.

HIV medications can be complicated to take. A new HIV treatment is now approved in the US. It's a once a month injection at the doctor's office or health department. No daily pills. But, more importantly, a patient can be arrested as a health hazard if they don't show up for their monthly shot.

There is a lot of truth in what you write: robotics & artificial intelligence will make humans obsolete and most of us will lose our jobs to robots who outperform us... in many respects...making us even more rendundant. That is why DARPA is now developing robots to hunt, & kill humans as a means of "pest control ". This is all part of "agenda 21 " ( google that !) the elite aims at merging us with A.I. so A.I. can use our creativity to made an invincible robot army...

The entire concept of anti homosexual sex in cultures prevents most males from enjoying unlimited and no strings sex with other males. Most males would eagerly jump at being openly able to have fast and easy sex with other males.

Ancient Greece, Rome, and other openly homosexual friendly cultures must have been a paradise for extra horny men, teens, and boys. Maybe that is why later cultures like Christianity and the muslim religion took up such an antagonistic war on homosexuality and on unbridled male sexuality as part of their central belief positions ? Fiction always loves portraying the end of men. But in reality most parents around the globe strongly prefer males as offspring. Females would become obselete compared to stronger, tougher, and more productive and more harmonious males. Male economic output far exceeds female economic output in work ability, especially work requiring muscles and strength.

Clamping down on male homosexuality was part of enslaving humanity: heterosex breeding as the only approved way of expressing sexuality ; breeding kids that also did pose a material burden & strain on the energy of the parent's... Parents want them, because most of the societies are patrilocal - son stays in family, daughter is given away. So daugher is 'wasted investment' sort of.

As for the work - there is no real use for muscles in most of work those days. And where it still is - it will be automated/mechanised away for the most part. Nothing wrong with that. Brain wins over muscles most of the time in historical perspective.

For the portraying "the end of men" - they were created biologically expendable. (But I am not saying 'not needed').

As far as higher education, women are kicking men's asses these days too. So robots aren't the only way men are going to be replaced. What is society going to do with a plethora of men with just high school educations and not decent paying jobs for them? I don't think it involves any kind of conspiracy, and probably doesn't apply to the entire globe, but to the more western countries.

Male Chow was introduced slowly. It's first name was "Male Improvement Supplement 2.1" (the 2.1 meant nothing - people just have greater faith in anything that isn't the first try at something. Also software that ends in "point zero" is normally seen as needing a bug fix. Hence, the 2.1)

It was marketed as a supplement for body builders. Oh, not the men at the gym back in the corner with the "real weights", rather to men who just wanted to eat the supplement and have their bodies transform into a muscle stud with perfect square pecs, cut 6 pack abs, 9% body fat, a bubble butt you can bounce a quarter off of and hit the moon and arms like a truck driver.

Needless to say, almost every male willingly started eating the supplement. Sales took off quickly.

Men started to notice that they didn't even need to eat food. The supplement alone was enough to keep them alive. The first reports of men going through withdraws were reported several years later.
