I give my husband his weekly injections as per the doctor's instructions. My feeling is though that artificial testosterone doesn't work in the same way as T from the balls. It is me now that initiates sex and decides when and how we do it.

You literally control his whole manhood and sexuality now. You ve got him by more than just his missing balls now lol. You ve got him by his whole manhood and maleness now.

t could be mental on his part. He doesn't feel/look like he used to and feels inhibited because of it/ I'd say keep initiating and trying to build up his mental side and instill confidence. From you have posted previously, I don't it has anything to with power of his manhood as was suggested. Hell if he was uncomfortable with you doing ti, the doctor could do it instead.
You may just need to find the right cycle for him. Myself I do 80mg of T a week via injection. Also make them do he blood work and check on other factors like estrogen levels SHBG...
Treat him the same and use encouragement where you can to remind him he hasn't changed and that he still the man you love and married.

Some men and eunuch would enjoy a woman controling their testosterone levels, sex drive, erections, and masculinity. Some would resent it. I d ask him what he wants. It sounds like his sex drive is lower than you want and lower than his past desire for daily sex. A compromise in the center of your desire and his past history would be the best solution, unless he welcomes less sex and a lower sex drive than he had in the past. Nearly every man his age will prefer sex more often than your desired level of frequency. Tons of single and married men use daily masturbation and oral sex to add more ejaculations to satisfy themselves than their partners want from sexual intercourse only.

The problem with this control idea is that it isn't how TRT is supposed to work. It isn't about 'control' it is about finding the correct dosage for a man's optimal health. Its not healthy to randomly give more or leas on a given day or week just to mess with a guy's libido!
Other functions of the body require testosterone to help regulate things. Bone strength, blood lipids to name two.
For normal every day people it isn't a game. It isn't about giving the key to a chastity device to your lover. This is about a person's health.

I agree, but there is a range of levels where health could be maintained. Just as different men naturally have different levels of testicle output of testosterone and not one healthy level for all men s bodies. Men can have a degree of choice in their T levels and still remain healthy.

I agree too. What I am against is putting someone else in charge of one's TRT (or HRT). If the other person is going to just follow the doctor's orders than I have no problem. The idea of someone else upping and lowering dosages to affect someone's health then I have a serious problem.

Further I have noticed in couples where the wife controls the viagra, the hubbies are more open to other changes..
Sounds like you have some couples to maintain contact with. Interesting to see if anything or what comes of that.

From my experience, I agree. TRT has not been equivalent to natural T, but TBH I may not be representative.
