Nothing too exciting to report. I think my morning wood has decreased, but not as much as I'd like. Boners during the day don't happen, simply because I'm not even in the mood! Haven't tried to see how easily I can get hard, but I don't think it would be too difficult. I swear my balls seem to be shrinking... I'm not sure if that's a placebo effect or not!

Haven't had any of the negative side effects either... which makes me wonder.... do I have a super resilient body, or is having no negative side effects not that uncommon? It also makes me wonder if the triptorelin I previously bought was in fact legit... and my body just "handled it"? Weird 🤷

Anyway, I think I'll do another week of 100mg of Androcur then perhaps get my levels checked!

It took me a bit more than two weeks before the changes became really apparent. You may have started with a higher T level than I did.

My starting level was about 16.1 nmol/l (464 ng/dl) which is on the low side for my age range

Mine had been as low as 195 ng/dl, so maybe that explains why I'm experiencing faster changes, but with few negative side effects.

Week 4

A month! That's gone quick. I don't think I get much in the way of morning wood now... although i definitely feel... "pressure" down there? Like it wants to get up! I've had zero negative side-effects too, no hot flushes, no aches, no sleep loss.... weird! Not masturbated in a few weeks I think, although when I did, strangely this time it was pretty straight forward. It didn't take me ages like last time.

I've continued 100mg a day, I guess I need to start scaling that back now... I just need to get my T levels checked (i HATE drawing blood with those damned lancet things lol....). I'll be curious to see what my levels are, as I really don't feel 'that' much different really. Definitely less sexual, but physically there doesn't seem to be a huge difference.

Since I'm fully shut down on 50 mg/day, I'm going to try 25 mg/day next week and see how it goes. If it works, I'll save some money and reduce potential harmful effects like liver damage.

Pleased that it’s working out so well for you.

I’m still pretty much side effect free, and I love feeling less sexual.

It’ll be interesting to know what your T level is, as it only took Androcur about three weeks to knock mine down to castrate level.

I’d quite like to drop down to 25mg a day sometime soon, but unfortunately I now have rather a lot of 100mg pills to use up… They’re easy enough to half, but I think quartering them accurately would be next to impossible.

Oh well, I guess that another six months on 50mg won’t do me much harm, as I’m damn well not going to waste them!

Seems it is going well for you, so why change? The worst enemy of "good" is "better".

Liver and any other such troubles seem unlikely inside a year?

Something I noticed in the shower yesterday.... which i'm pretty sure isn't a placebo effect... is that my balls seem noticeably smaller! I wasn't really expecting that until around 6+ months of Androcur use. I guess it's a temporary thing, but I think (assuming i'm really NOT imagining it!) it's the first obvious indication of change.

I didn't measure them before I started (seems awkward!) but if I had to describe the difference... i'd say that both are closer to being the same some (before, one was probably around 1/3 larger than the other) and they're both around maybe 40% smaller?!

I did measure my testicles before starting Androcur and they have definitely shrunk, by about 40%. This must be a sign that they've shut down.
