Never shaved body hair.
I don't understand why men do this...
For some reason my hair doesn't grow below my neck.

first having only gotten halfway through your post, all i can feel is envy - like i just wish i could be like you.
next, if you feel shame, ive come to think that one puts oneself into a shameful situation in some cases because that is the only safe way to live in a way that one actually wants to live. that is if you feel shame by things you voluntarily do, it is because you can have what you want and then if anyone speaks accusingly toward you for it, you can then say you feel ashamed and that you dont really want it.
i think shame can be used as a defense. does this resonate? i know it is true for me. ive done things in my life specifically because i perceived them to be feminine (being hairless does not necessarily have to be a feminine thing btw) then id be out in public and be seen that way and i would feel genuine shame.
that confused me for much of my life but i realize now that being in that shameful state was the only way i could live my femininity and still somehow be able to blame it on something else as if it were not my choice. does this make any sense?
for me, im so indoctrinated by societal norms it is nearly impossible to be who i really believe myself to be. i do believe like people need to join forces in order to have the necessary support to be who they need to be.
now back to reading the rest of your post.

i think being a weirdo is something to be proud of. i know it does severely categorize a person, but i think it is so awesome to not be what everyone else is. honestly if people are turned off then let them be turned off (but why do they keep looking?) it may be that they feel shame revealing that they do not want to be caught having an interest. it may be that the 80% actually want liberation too. they may never admit it, but i do think everyone would love to be free of constraints.

yikes!!!!!!! a pshrink saying you may be conflicted. its not just that that is what they are paid to say, but i think it is inherent in their being. it is also damn obvious since why would you be seeing a pshrink if you are not conflicted? like
i love to smoke/i need to stop smoking or - want to be a girl/im ashamed of wanting it
both of the urges on either side of an issue are natural to have. and resolving that is what we always need to do. society has evolved into a belief system that a certain look means something specific but that is not the case. yet wanting same sex relationships or wanting to be the other sex does not actually violate what god wants and it does not mean you are some kind of affront to society, a freak or a weirdo! it only means you are trying to be yourself and trying to proactivate society to advance, improve, and become openminded when the society mindset has been so closed for so long. it is time to make changes in this world. we need to keep the momentum going. and we gotta get more people onto the bandwagon. its not just a parade it is a necessity of life.

I am in complete agreement. So many here have been the recipients of unpleasant assaults that understanding and accepting oneself becomes a process. I think for gender reversed people this process is ongoing. We are the entertainers and caregivers of society. From being dragged out of the girls playhouse in a 1975 kindergarten class to being ruffied and gang raped, for some of us being put back in our "place " was anything but humane.
In keeping with the thread...so not only resolving the internalized Shame, a gender varient person also must learn to navigate the various societal environments and norms.
From encouraging accepting and tolerant to dissuading ostracizing and intolerant social situations and "time" itself can throw off a person's sense of self and societal acceptance...and thus an individual can fell shame for how they feel and who they truly are.
Shave those legs and give 'em hell! Well kinda...maybe do IT with a side of ice cream!

I’ve shaved my body for decades. I absolutely hate hate hate body hair. I bought the strongest available IPL and zapped my entire body from my eyes down at least 12 times. I got tired of electrocuting myself, (Seriously, IPL’s Suck), and thankfully when I switched from herbal estrogen to the real stuff, my body hair evaporated overnight. I haven’t had to shave my body in 2 yrs & I love it. Being hairless is awesome.
If I could only get rid of my beard I’d be estatic.
