Even if you live too far from Atlanta to use their services, this clinic specializes in adult circumcisions. They also use methods that intentionally make an adult circ look like it was done at birth.

One of the things they explain on their website is how they do circumcision revisions. Either from a scar that is uneven or as in your case a man who feels he has too much skin left.

I don't know how old you are now. If it's not too late, I'd consider a lawsuit against the doctor that cut you at 15 years old.

Imagine this. The 15-year-old is taken to the clinic for the circ. He screams loudly that he does not want a circumcision. Demands to go home. The nurses try to reassure him that "it's no big deal, dear".

He's angry (understandably so) and decides he'd better fight if he's going to get out of this. So, he demands his clothes back and when they are refused him, he gets out of bed, finds his clothes, starts to get dressed. Some adult tries to stop him and he lashes out and in defending himself against a medical procedure he doesn't want (but as a minor can't stop) he strikes the adult (no matter if the adult is a parent, a nurse a doctor a tech).

So, to calm him down the jab him with a needle full of sedatives.

He wakes up with a sore dick from the circ and is handcuffed to the bed.

"Why did you do it to me even though I told you I didn't want it done," is his first question.

"You are a minor and have no legal right to refuse medical treatment authorized by your parent."

"Why am I handcuffed to the bed?"

A police officer is there, "You are under arrest for assault and battery of the nurse you hit."

"Well, I'm a minor, right? So, are you saying you're putting me in juvie?"

"No, the District Attorney has decided to charge you as an adult. In the US anyone over the age of 15 can be charged as an adult for committing a felony."

"But, I'm a minor. The nurse just said so."

"The law clearly says that after the age of 15 when committing a felony you have the requisite capability to know what is right and wrong and the ability to plan to commit the felony. The DA charges hundreds of teenagers as an adult in this county every year."

But, it's not. The law stops minors from refusing any medical treatment that their parents authorize. The law says that a minor isn't able to understand the full scope of the issues involved and is unable to form a logical decision.

The same law says that the same 15 year old is very more than capable of forming all the required intent to commit a felony, should know what a felony is and can be put on trial as an adult because 15 year olds have the required mental ability.

Crazy making - yes.

Still, I say any teenager being forced into circumcision should call Child Protective Services and report his parents and the doctor of inappropriate touching. It's actually common for fathers to show their sons what the dad's circ'd penis looks like to show him how much better it looks. That alone is enough to complicate the issue. If that's not enough, a complaint that the doctor went way beyond the scope of what a medical exam for a circumcision requires would be enough to get the doctor to refuse to do the circ.

It's easy for parents to force medical procedures on teenagers. Vaccines, appendectomies (which might be done even if the doctor says it's precaution and that waiting would be equally appropriate), braces on teeth, physicals that require the teenager to strip nude are all done and the teenager has little to say about it. In fact, there could be a father with a belt waiting at home if the teenager refuses to cooperate in medical procedures.

So, it's easy to see why doctors make millions every year circumcising teenagers who escaped the Male Genital Mutilation at birth. Teenagers normally just go along with what they are told - even if there is no medical reason.

The good news is that once you discover the damage done, you can hire a lawyer and sue. There have been successful suits against hospitals, parents and doctors for infant circ. Teenage circ is no different. Then, again, there is a time limit and that begins when you discover the damage. Just knowing your were circ'd doesn't start the clock. The clock starts when you figure out how much damage was done. Loss of sensation, inability to ejaculate, etc.

Why would parents let their son enjoy his full foreskin and frenulum for his whole life and puberty up to age 15 and then circumcise him 3 years before he is legally a man who can then decide for himself ?

It makes no sense and even more of a great lawsuit against his circumcisors. The motivation in his case doesn t make any sense except to take unfair advantage of him before he turns 18. And how his sister was ever involved in deciding to circumcise him before he was ever asked about his own body and foreskin makes an excellent case for abuse of a vulnerable under aged male s body for no medical reason.

Even a tight foreskin can be stretched out to fit perfectly or get a quick and small cut of the tight ring to let his penis free withour cutting his foreskin off. The lie of medical necessity should be proven to be a lie and remove circumcision as ever being medically necessary, especially in any males in puberty and adult men actively using and enjoying their foreskins and frenulums sexually.

My experience says that men hardly ever talk about sexual things anyway, besides make jokes about it. I've never been a part of nor heard of a frank talk about anything sexual by men.

You are correct. Men don't talk about being circ'd.

I think mostly because circumcision is sold to the American public using the same advertising techniques with which other products are sold.

Circumcision is sold as "being cleaner", "being normal", "looking like the other guys". There's a good debate to be had as to the truth of those statements but, the point isn't if they are true or not, the point is that's how it's sold. There is so much money made on circumcisions that any study that shows even the smallest disadvantage of being circumcised finds another study published very quickly showing the opposite. The money is on the side of the industry surrounding circumcision. The voices against male genital mutilation simply don't have the billions of dollars to spend on studies that the circumcision industry does.

Also, thinking about how circumcision is sold shows the huge impact that the prefix "un" has on parents. A boy who leaves the hospital without having his foreskin surgically amputated is uncircumcised while a boy who had a session with a genital cutter and leaves the hospital with a wound around his penis in his diaper is not referred to as "un". In the United States, it is remarkable that a male seeing a pediatrician is uncircumcised. By that, I literally mean the doctor will make a remark in the child's records that he has not had male genital mutilation (or circumcision).

There is no other medical procedure or surgery referred to as "un".

Unappendectomyed?

Uncholecystectomyed?

(cholecystectomy is the term for removing the gallbladder).

The statistics vary. But, about 5% of people have their gallbladder removed during their life. That's 1 in 20. The reason the stats vary is that women are more likely to have their gallbladder removed than men. Also, some surgeries to remove other parts such as the pancreas often include removing the gallbladder. But, 5% is a pretty solid number for chances of needing your gallbladder removed during a lifetime. Uncircumcised?

In the United States, if parents don't want to have their son's foreskin surgically removed for social reasons, they often decide to do it for medical reasons.

Doctors will say that it decreases the risk of penile cancer. Yet, they don't quite explain it all. Worldwide, they are correct. In parts of the world where showering isn't a frequent occurrence, penile cancer is greater than in the United States.

However, to compare populations with similar hygiene, Europe and the United States have the same rate of penile cancer about 1 in 100,000 for lifetime risk. The circumcision rate in Europe is almost zero and still, there is no increase in penile cancer rate.

Bathing rates in Europe and the United States are identical (despite the old false rumors that Europeans don't bath frequently). So, only if your boy is likely to find himself living in a hut in central Asia or a grass house in the middle of Africa should penile cancer risk factor into a decision to remove a healthy body part.

The other health reason given is a study that shows among African men a 60% decrease in HIV transmission from female to male if the man is circumcised. 60% sounds good until they tell you the man still has to wear a condom.

With circumcision and a condom, the risk of female to male HIV transmission is virtually zero. However, it's the condom doing all the work.

If an uncircumcised man uses a condom the risk of female to male HIV transmission is also virtually zero.

Plus, when I was born there were no vaccines for HepA, HepB, HPV, Chickenpox and a few others. Today, those vaccines will save this generation from many of the diseases we've struggled through.
