Perhaps you should schedule an appointment with another urologist and hope that he or she will have the same conclusion as Dr. Kong had, remove everything. I think the chances of finding another urologist who is less "up on the injection thing" would help you achieve your goal. I also wouldn't mention seeing Dr. Karpman, but another opinion couldn't hurt. This is an awesome opportunity to get your penis removed professionally. Pursue it if it's what you want.

The weird thing is, despite all the dedicated damage I've done to my genitals over the years, I know that my obsession is really a mental illness or at least addiction. So, while I am sure that in many ways it would be a relief to fulfill that obsession, I really hope I don't go that far.

I believe your thrill or obsession is with the investigation and experimenting not actual personal results. It seems that many who end up as nullo's begin with doing small damage to their genitals, then as time passes they progress to more extensive modifications, ultimately as they continue doing things to their genitals, the severity grows or deepens until the damage is so great they have everything removed. What is it that motivates the person to pursue these ends? Is it mental illness or simply the result of their mind/body rejecting their maleness? Maybe it's sexual ADHD. Well, sort of. But putting the device in destroys all the internal structure of the penis so there is no going back. If you have normal erectile difficulty at least you have a normal flacid penis, but if you have a penis implant removed the penis is really just a tube of skin that is in pretty bad shape.

Just a quick update. Been a couple weeks now and still have permanent rock-hard erection and penis is much thicker than before (my wife says it hurts during sex). It is a non-ischemic erection meaning there is still blood flow so there isn't any downside except sometimes my dick gets in the way of exercising and I've caught a few women gazing at my crotch so I guess it's obvious that I have one.

I have a follow-up with the urologist on Thursday where he wants to discuss penile implants. I'm not keen on it, but figure I'll listen to him. Of course doctors have a conflict of interest due to the amount of money involved. I read that he bills insurance $75k per operation and on days that he does them he does six!

I think you need another opinion from another urologist. If your penis is still erect and rock hard, then what's the purpose of the implant? I suspect there is more damage then you realize or that your current urologist admits. Even if there is "blood-flow" the question is, how much blood flow? And if you get an implant, will that help you or hurt you? Will you benefit or will it be a hindrance? I doubt that your penis will ever be normal again, the damage is done.
