Id suggest trying pregnenolone which is over the counter. It is a pro hormone for T, E and progesterone as well as a few others. Males can not function sexually without some estrogen so as body builders who take E blockers know, if your E is low you can not function. I find that my libido is almost as high on E as it was when I had high T levels so it may be worth trying 1 or two mg a day but you may want to cycle it and see how it goes.

Cycling E ? I thought you have to have a very steady supply of E

Would it at your opinion be possible to start a slight dose of E and back out before I run around with B or C Cups?

You may want to start with 1mg a day and adjust from there after a few weeks. If you start feeling pain under your nipple, you may want to start taking it every other day or cut your dose in half, if you don't want breast growth.

I disagree!!!

I, in fact do take a very low dose of E which the body does convert to a minimal dose of T (at "pre-castrate" levels as opposed to "post-castrate" levels). And so it is there on a par with most women (who also have a minimal amount of T). And of course I have no balls. Somehow I'm getting some amount of T without taking any.

I don't believe E is converted to T. T is converted to E. The adrenal glan produces a small amount of T.

I'm meeting my physician next week for an appointment. She's researching estrogen and tamoxifen combination for me (I've already shared JCat's research article he linked, great article). I'm happy presenting as male (and therefore don't want to grow breasts that are visible through clothes), but bone health, energy, and avoiding hot flashes (along with the mood/mental impact, which I find intriguing) is the goal. Some other mild feminization would be welcome, but it's not my goal to transition... so really glad to learn about E+tam as an option!

I thought Tamoxifen blocks E? Taking both would be like taking testosterone + antiandorgen wouldn't it?

Maybe I am mistaken on how Tamoxifen works?

I don't know a lot about this but I am getting tired of the hot flashes and would like to do something to prevent bone problems without resorting to going back on T. I thank you all for your input and will follow the site for suggestions and let you know what is happening.
