In Romania there are major problems with in-hospital infections, with superbugs (a strain of bacteria that has become resistant to antibiotic drug). There has been a huge scandal related to disinfectants. They were so diluted that sometimes disinfectants even contained the bacteria they were supposed to kill! The scandal has passed, nothing has changed. It is a country drowned by corruption and incompetence. You can go into a hospital for a routine check-up and get infected with a deadly thing. It's safer not to go at all. Especially for surgery.
