Oh wow! This is really bad news. To me and everyone. I think we all liked him. How not so? He had a lot to say. And was very kind too. -Will miss him for sure.

I didn't have contact with Raymar but I liked his comments. He was so human, indeed an understanding and amiable man.

Oh dear. He was one of my friends, a respected friend. This is a loss to all of us at EA.

Wow, I am in complete and total shock. I have chatted with Ray for a few years now as I explore the possibility of becoming a eunuch. He was always extremely helpful when I had questions, but more importantly he was a very good friend. He had a great sense of humor and wit about him. I will truly miss him.

I posted the following in its own thread, not having realized that there was already a thread open. Administrators, feel free to delete the thread I started.
I never met Ray in person, but based on my many, many email interactions with him and our online chats, I can say that he was a sweet, generous man who was always willing to help out strangers. As I struggled to make sense of my gender identity and strong desire to be castrated, he was perennially there with good advice, kind encouragement, and a personal anecdote to help me through the mental turmoil. And I know that I was not alone; there were many other men and eunuchs who turned to him for help and commiseration.
Ray was--there's no other way to say this--a role model to me. As someone who embraced both a masculine and a eunuch identity at the same time (he never missed his weekly shot of testosterone!) he exemplified, in my mind, the BIID eunuch, the kind that identifies with his manhood but feels like those two parts just aren't quite right. If I do become a eunuch, I am sure that I will be a eunuch in the way that Ray was.
It feels strange to eulogize the man because I never met him in person, but Ray was the kind of guy who you feel like you've known all your life.
