He told me that the most common cause of injury to men, after age 40, is loss of hydrostatic pressure in the body when draining the bladder in the middle of the night causing a faint and fall in the often cramped and hard edged confines of a bathroom. Haven't seen any statistics on this, but I don't take any chances anyway. ;)

Hmm.....

I don't mean to dispute the good doctor, but in 30 years of playing Paramedic/Firefighter I don't ever remember picking up an older gentleman who'd fallen in the bathroom due to passing out from taking a leak....

On another note which makes the bathroom dangerous (I know this is a sitting to pee thread) is trying to take a dump when constipated which lots of old folks are and most of us experienced with the pain meds from the orchie. When you bear down like that, it can "energize" if you will? the Vagus nerve which can slow down the heart rate. The technique is useful for some folks as they get older since it can stop a cardiac arrythmia like a tachycardia. I have to do that myself occasionally. The problem is that under the right conditions and bearing down hard enough, these old boys have a cardiac arrest right there on the throne and that unfortunately, is not uncommon. You occasionally find women in the bathroom in cardiac arrest but in my experience it seems like it was mostly men we found in the bathroom with that condition.

Now back to our regularly scheduled "pee" thread....

I agree, years ago before cardiac meds are as good as they are today we had to stay close to our cardiac patients when they were on the toilet. You learn a lot about a person when you are sharing those moments with them. I was always told more people died on the toilet at 0600 than any other way.

Only sit and find it much more relaxing and pleasant. Have not stood under any circumstances for about 16 years and never consider it as a possibility.

As for your question; I do not think that I have a reroute when peeing as a penis allows the option of doing it either way.

PA piercing owners know it's much better to sit. Of course with a subincision, it's even clearer.

So, I always pee sitting except when there's no other possibility. Being eunuch doesn't mean a reroute's necessary.

I once had a large PA, but I replaced it with a meatotomy so I sit most of the time when I pee. --FLO--

In a way I wonder if there needs to be more moderation. I seriously assumed this site was for Eunuch's, people about to be a Eunuch, or some who want to be a eunuch. It is seeming to be more of a fetish site than informational or even therapeutic. I notice there is actually sections in the forum for certain things. I am very tolerant and accept everyone but it seems that some responses seem to be based on fantasy rather than reality and some people here really need reality. There is limited research on men without testicles. Trust me I have searched. They do not even know how the body works as far as Free Testosterone, LH, other androgens and etc. Sitting to pee? You can sit and pee without any need for anything being cut or modified. My orchiectomy was not a fetish or fantasy decision so I do not relate but common sense tells me that if I wanted to sit and pee I could do it with my penis attached. Not trying to offend the poster or anyone just really trying to understand this. Can someone please explain to me?

No there does not need to be more moderation. Some of us are eunuchs by choice and some are using the fantasy aspect to decide if this is what they really want. I struggled with who I was and where I fit in the overall scheme of things. Some of us would view needing to become a eunuch for medical reasons as a blessing. For those not wanting to be a eunuch but becoming one for medical reasons is a curse. There are so many reasons that we struggle with many of the issues accepted by this site that I cannot imagine where you could get this kind of support.

I suggest you start your own thread and present your unique issues. You might be surprised by the kindred spirits with which you can relate. I am unable to relate to everyone here but I support their need to share and find answers. I am grateful to this site for helping me define myself and finding my place in the world.

I just saw your original post and will be reading it. As a gay eunuch I may have nothing to add.
