can long term chemical castration allow me to remove any interest in girls. ideally, never find a girl desirable in anyway, not be aware of beauty in girls, not be pay prostitute in future just to get a feel / massage on her, basically not attraction towards girls, it should be of no value to me similar to a empty cardboard box?.. i think there can be chance to achieve this? chemical castration is complex and I have not read a in-depth explanation of all the effects anywhere, i hope in my case my awareness of girls disappears similar to when i was like 10 years old, had no awareness of girls and they were not appealing at all
The answer is "NO" with high probability. At least to some of the questions. First - you went through puberty, you'll still be aware of beauty. Just differently.
As for attraction - your mileage will vary. No one knows.

All you will lose will be libidinal urges. Beauty remains, interests remain. Just less motive to function sexually.

shadow1ninja & Jorge2008. You guys all say girls have lots of choices. Well, so do guys. If being rejected by girls is the main reason to seek castration, that's really not a good enough reason. Perhaps, it's more about your self esteem, self confidence, looking at the right places, being attracted to the right kinds of girls, social skills, rushing too much to jump into the sack therefore scaring off any of the girls, sexual charm. For partners, not all girls are looking for male models, and we should not be looking for female models only. Beauty is what is inside our head -- I mean the head with the brain, not the one down there. I just saw this clip, running viral on FB right now, about a guy finding out marriage is not for him. The message is, if you are thinking about yourself in a marriage, then you are not ready for it. Only if you are only thinking about the other half, are you ready for marriage. The same goes for attracting and finding any possible girlfriend to begin with. It is about what you would offer (fun, jokes, happiness) to the other, to make the other happy, forgetting about your hard-on inside the pants for the time being.
Like someone said above, castration should be the last option. And so far, I see castration not even an option for you. You want happiness in life. OK. Castration helps you get rid of your hard problem in your pants. But without socializing and friends (any friends, especially non sexual friends), you will still feel empty after castration.
Oh, to answer your question directly, why I chose chemical castration, that's because my partner of 20 years has a low sex drive. I just wanted to match his.
And after castration, do I still find people attractive. YES I DO. I just don't have the urge to jump in bed with them, nor do I have the ability to do so.
If one psychologist cannot help, find another one, or even just a counselor, especially someone who is more specialized with relationship issues.
Wishing you all the very best.
