Re: Epididymitis
OK. I don't have a problem with that.
Just be extremely careful and over-cautiously sterile with catheters.
They can cause nasty infections and that's what you don't want to happen.

I kind of found out the hard way, it caused one of testicles to grow to the size of a kiwi fruit, it hurt like a SOB

When it gets inflamed, my T goes down to near eunuch levels and it is sore and really uncomfortable. Would that be enough for a doctor to remove the testicle - thereby being half way to a true eunuch?
I have been looking for a post that referenced inflammation of testicle(s). I had ischemic orchitis from a bacterial infection. The bacterial infection was treated with an antibiotic which eventually cleared up the infection and relieved me of the swelling and intense pain. However the lack of blood flow ultimately caused testicular atrophy and infarcted testicles. Though posted over 4 years ago by a guest, this person could have had epididymo-orchitis.

Re: Epididymitis
Just want to chime in here that I developed epididymitis aged 16 (20 years ago!) and it took months to clear up with antibiotics. I had an ultrasound too, which was clear. Since then my right testicle has always been tender, the epididymis painful to touch and I have experienced aches in general.

Re: Epididymitis
I'm dealing with it right now my balls are swollen the size of tennis balls and the epididymitis are huge so I went to ER and had ultrasound told it was epididymitis very sever case and he wants me to see my urologist in 2 days but he's on vacation so I'll be seeing him the 9 th I don't think he is telling me everything about the ultrasound he seemed to concerned about it. The one good thing about this is that he told me to take 2 Tylenol and 2 ibuprofen for the pain and it works like a narcotic but it's not addictive I took it and 15 minutes it started to work and now I'm pain free for 6 hours. And I have chronic epididymitis pain almost every day. Was told in my 20s I just had to live with it but I just learned there are options available now
