I was basing my remark on reports which I read when I lived just across the boarder from Canada. It is good to hear from two Canadians on the subject.

I STAND CORRECTED. THANKS.

I looked for an "eating crow" smiley but couldn't find one so you will have to accept this simple apology.

As I understand it, All Canadian cities with easy access to the USA border have this problem. Fake Canadian care cards are common, and we unfortunately have to take steps against accepting them.

Thanks for this little known observation. All I hear about in AZ is illegal Mexicans coming here for medical care. Now we have illegal Americans going to Canada for medical care.

Isn't the world interesting?

Even more so if we knew the exact number of right wing white women who travel to Europe each year and while there get medical treatment that they would not dare get here, and that has been going on for years and still is. Its part of that do as I say not as I do group.

Americans also go to places like Mexico, Cuba, Thailand and other countries for medical procedures they can not get in the USA. But we don't want to talk about them either.

Some of those 'foreign' procedures are for professional reasons.

Example.

American surgeons cannot do a good Krukenberg procedure.

I understand Brazil and China are more better.

and then there are Dr without boarders (one of the charities I give to) who leave their country and go to the problem.

Moi I had to look up Krukenberg. I now realize that I once knew someone who had Krukenberg hands although I had no idea what they were called. (See, he can learn.) --FLO--
