I found a Samsung phone along the road, at the edge of the field where I take the dogs. The screen was a bit scuffed, the power on button broken, but otherwise fine. I took it home, cleaned it up, pulled the SIM card, the data card (micro SD) and the battery, shined it up, and began pulling data off the card to try and identify the owner. I put the SIM card in a disposable spare phone I have, and started making calls. The owner was thrilled to get it back.
Keeping a lost phone is just plain wrong, and all this name-calling won't help.
You've all been told countless times about this sort of thing, yet every time I get the chance to log onto here lately, I leave angry.
Next time I stumble into a thread like this, heads (and by that I mean IP's) are going to roll.
ENOUGH!
