Matoso, thank you.

But a couple of those are mine, and they're going to be done DEAD LAST.

I used to use Corel...and...wow...what a mess...

I'll echo the comment that Zoroaster's stories are all very compelling. I've also enjoyed just about everything by Slammr, Jearns1985, Curious_Guy, Sander and Paolo, despite his insistence those stories go last.

Here are a few titles I recall with particular enjoyment, though I can't always place an author:

Biology Class

Boxing Day

Chad's Adjustment

Cutterman (and Remix)

Donations

HSCD

Huge Rooster's Biggest Dick Contest

Hustling

No Cock Club Series

The Punk Show

The Screw Series

Stepka

Surfer's Feast

Toppers

Trimming Day

UNK House

Honestly, if I keep trying to come up with titles I'd end up listing most of the penectomy related stories I remember reading. And please note, just because I didn't list a title or an author doesn't mean I didn't really enjoy those stories, too!

Oh, before I sign off... there was another series I enjoyed, very long (over 100 chapters), but I can't remember the exact name: something like 'Controlling Lucas Sorenson'? If someone can recall the exact title, I would love to see it make a speedy return, but I know it will be a big job due to length.

Daddy's Pussyboy series was my favorite stories, I am glad I made copies of them. My second favorites are any that have males getting milked. I printed some of them also. I hope you all can get the stories back, I sure do miss them. Milkman9

We have not lost one story. It just takes time to go through them all and we arn't in any real rush. It's easy to kill yourself doing this.

That is a loaded question, but lets see if I can add some light to this. When the Archive went down our first goal was to get Vbulletin back up and running as quick as possible. We could have just put the story board back in place as it was at that time, but over the last couple years we were trying to come up with a standard for all future stories. Some of the stories date back to 1994 they were in every format you can think of, using different character sets none of them standard or up to date. What we decided was that some new programming was needed to display the story board, thanks to Talula for all of the programming, then testing it, then Talula did a conversion on all the stories, none came through clean, some were easy to fix and put up and this is what your seeing now, some are so bad that its almost a re-write to get them back up. Some were written in all CAPS some were just one long sentence. So our goal is to go through all 10,000 plus stories and do the final fixing of them so they all meet UNICODE standards and follow a general format that we decided on.

When our group of editors finish this project which we are going to guess will take at least a year, all the stories in the story board will be using the same format, same character set and be most of all readable. All new stories that are submitted will be put in the format from the start, this will help insure that down the road we are all on the same page as it were.

Have fun reading the stories again for the very first time,

River

Pretty much the case, River.

As I said, back in the day, it was the "script du'jour" that accepted and posted the stories. Much like the soup du'jour in an eatery, you don't know what you're going to get!

It was also how they were edited. After a couple of crashes, one of them major, Bboy had to write up new scripts to post and edit. I guess these weren't plain-text scripts, hence the mess. I have literally retyped 5 stories so far, and sort of filled-in the blanks in a couple of damaged ones.

For instance, "And then she simply cut off (insert data salad here)...?...screamed."

Well, OK, that one's a no-brainer!

It's the ones that have degraded into chunks of huge text with no paragraphs that are the real challenged.

But on the bright side, we've discovered some real gems in the mess, as well as a pile of turds!

Pretty much everything by Doro was awesome. I have like 100 or so of the stories saved as .txt files or .html, so that I could read my favorite stories offline, if there's a way I could send them all to someone to put onto the story archive I'd be willing.
