I've been seeing my GP about it and he's referred me to an endocrinologist. He says it's a pretty unusual request so he has to get it checked over before prescribing it. Where are you getting your DP from? (IHP, I guess?). Also, can you explain what the basis of your GP consultation is? I'm struggling with the notion that he's happy to commence prescribing DP for you (albeit subject to to an endo. referral and report) just because you've started down the d-i-y route!

I have the DP from a local pharmacy store (without prescription) I never went to a GP, I did it all by myself. I am running now for 13 days , I do feel the difference very good, however

Where in the abdomen is the pain? Testicle pain is often felt in the abdomen because they are actually internal testicles that "descend" to become sort of external. But the nerves are technically still connected like internal organs, and so you can feel testicle pain roughly where ovaries would be if you were a woman.

When you go on anti-androgens or estrogens or even testosterone yes your testicles can become sore (I'm not sure why others above were surprised by that). And that pain can be felt up inside the abdomen.

However, of course there can be other real medical problems that cause stomach pain, so it really depends on what you're feeling and whether it feels serious such that you should get it checked out.

the pain is in the upper part of my abdomen (pretty central just under my chest) , I do think its the stomach, however I have some doubts. What iff it is my liver and I administer the next dose in a few days.

Yes I did have testicle pain from the second day after my first dose (16 december) I think i have noticed some shrinkage of me left testicle

(it might be just an idea, as it is littlle different) the pain in my testicles has faded (only a little sometimes)

In case something goes wrong its not very easy to go to a docter. he probably take some blood samples and will discover that i am filled with female hormones

and as good as no T . What willl happen then , I dont know......

I actually had the endo appointment last week and she did not recommend prescribing it - she said that prescribing DP for a man was just not done in this country. She actually told me to come off it for a couple of months (which, given my financial situation, is a necessity anyway in the absence of a prescription) and then she'll have my blood tested again - she wants to test for any pituitary or chromosomal abnormalities. (This could be a possibility anyway.)

It's kind of a disappointment, not least because it could interfere with my referral for an Asperger's diagnosis (she said that some of these abnormalities that affect sexual desire also take on the characteristics of Asperger's). I found it hard explaining to the doctor why I started taking the DP in the first place.

yeah thats always the difficult part. saying to a docter that you were doing this to become a eunuch (....?) who the fuck would do that !!!!

thats also my concern as I do have some (minor i think) liver problems.I already had my second dose of DP in house , however i dont dare to administer because of health problems i currently have. that makes it all go downhill and stops the entire process of getting impotent i"ll keep looking for a solution. I tought depo was the moste gentle way to do it , but as they say, " its not the force but the percistance that will split the mountain"

I worry about this one too. iv taken t blockers and e before in my early 20s for a short period of time. but im a lot more commited now, and have financial semistability and the support of my wife. the last thing i need is a doctor screwing things up and not cooperating
