Oh and on getting surgery in India, someone I know worked in both private and public hospitals in India as part of her nursing training in the UK and said that although the public hospitals were very dirty and lacking in medical equipment, the private hospitals were very clean, with the latest medical equipment and machinery. She said they were the standard of an NHS hospital in Britain and she never heard of any superbug in a private hospital.
