My views and those of Ramses reflect the views of most Americans. But thank you for your generosity in assuring us that we may speak! May I assume that our eventual spots in the concentration camp are being readied for us as I write? Remember, dissent is honorable only when it comes from the left.
Read the stories about Greece to see where the current Administration's policies are leading us. In a bankrupt nation, government employees are rioting in the streets to demand that their perquisites be increased!

No, MY views and the views of the Democratic Party reflect the views of the American Public. But you rarely hear me say that in the dogmatic and arrogant manner that Republicans repeat that phrase over and over.
Now get bad to the topic of the thread that certain cities smell -- good or bad, I don't care. Remember, this is the "DEEP DARK CELLAR" and not the political thread.
Try not to shove politics into every conversation and down every throat. A-1 said nice things about you and Ramses. You should have resisted the efforts to make that statement political.

What a relief that your manner isn't arrogant or dogmatic! You'd never tell anyone else what to say. Thanks for correcting my errors.

My grandparents lived about 4 or 5 blocks from a bakery that always smelled good. Nothing fills the air like fresh baked bread. It's still baking and I know all the people in the family. I still buy their bread and when it is fresh, it's the best there is...
As for recent news -- Mr Sarris of Sarris Candies in Canonsburg passed away recently and when my nephews and nieces were kids (and not grown adults like they are now) I used to take them for ice cream and treats. Remember that I'm allergic to chocolate and lactose intolerant so I just drank an ice tea and sniffed the chocolate. My point is that you could smell the chocolate two blocks from the factory. Oh god could you smell the chocolate... Nothing but chocolate. The last chocolates I ate where dark chocolate covered nuts and triffles and all those spectacularly expensive things (my tummy went haywire for a month afterward)... I don't know how anyone lives near the place.

There's a new form of chocolate that you inhale rather than eat. I wonder if this would bypass your allergy. Take a look.

I lived in the city of Mantica Ca. years ago, it had a beet plant and sometimes when the wind was just right, OMFG.
But all cities smell, if you fly allot you would notice this, each country smells, different from the one you were at. its just the way things are, you don't notice the smell of the city you live in but go 100 miles down the road.

There I go again, plajarizing...
Remember, ONLY MINORITIES ever ended up in a Concentration Camp. SO, if you REALLY believe that you and ramses are in a MAJORITY how in the hell do you think that you will end up in a Concentration Camp?
You see, the exaggerations of the Conservative pundits have wore off on you and you are learning all of their BAD habits.
...AND WHO IN THE HELL said that you were DISHONORABLE because you are obviously NOT a Liberal.
GREECE?
How about Grease? You are going to need a LOT of it if you expect to slide that larger than life intellectual DILDOE up our collective asses.
We are PRETTY TIGHT here when it comes to screwing with a friend. Which, despite of EVERYTHING, you still are...(...a friend, that is...)
...don't worry, if you DO end up in a Concentration Camp if I cannot break you out I will at least smuggle you food.
Besides that, Obama did away with GITMO and sent the worst offenders to
CLUB FED!
So lighten up and DO NOT fear for your bodily well-being here in this HOTBED of Liberalism. We WILL treat you humanely, even if you have a load of C-4 in your underwear, which is more than I can say for the Conservative intellectuals (a OXYMORON!) and their BUDDIES from the DELIVERANCE delegation of all of the RED STATES.
Oh, and one more thing, Bobby3, can YOU tell me how in the HELL the color RED became DISASSOCIATED with with COMMUNIST DICTATORS like Joseph Stalin and became the STANDARD BANNER of the Republicans?

Please, I would really rather discuss smells -- good and bad.
My allergies are not true allergies but more involved, so while they make chocolate to smell, it doesn't satisfy and to tell the truth, I'm afraid to try it. I'm reconciled to doing without for something like 15, maybe 20 years now.
As for cities having smells, what River says is true. I live out in the countryside and when I travel back to Pittsburgh, I can tell the difference.

I agree with River. There is a smell of agriculture and chemicals when you drive into Yuma. Pahrump smells like dust in the wind.
How about a new subject of water tastes in places? Like Monday morning water in Yuma after everybody has gone to the river over the weekend, gotten drunk and peed in the water. You know it is Monday morning by the water.
