MOM 2009 has started

Had a great night seeing old friends again. Great food at Kristoff's. Late now so more tomorrow. Breakfast at Riverwind's.

Yes the Mall of Death, were we (Bobbie, OBB and I) wondered around the waist lands, er, mall finally eating at a fast food, then we hooked up with EricaAnn and Danya more visiting, off to see fish, finally ending up at Kristoff's for some good food and more visiting. Home a little after midnight.

This morning I have set out everything I need to feed who ever walks through my door, Biscuits and Gravy River Stile.

Breakfast starts at 9am.

Ready for breakfast and yes it has already rained once on our day. I was so hoping for a rain free event. It sure was a treat to see Paolo and Kristoff. I am certain the two of them will have special treats and laughs at the Hog trough tonight.

Hey Folks! I'm glad everything is going smoothly. I truely wish I was there. Just wasn't in my cards this year. I was greatful to have River and IE visit here in MO earlier this year. We did have a great time, so I dont feel totally left out. I hope the rain goes away and you guys have a wonderful time! ( I know you will) I will miss you all. All of us piggies are now in our rooms, getting ready for a deep sleep after the meal we just had. We all had a wonderful time, eating, laughing, visiting, disturbing the other tables around us, eating, dodging darts cast from The good Sister, eating, sword play, eating and oh yes, eating.

I am stuffed.

Cant wait tell tomorrow, more food and fellowship, what could be finer, meeting old friends for the first time.

Hi Everyone,

It's now Friday night of the MoM and the end of a busy day.

I arrived yesterday afternoon and was picked up at the airport by Danya who has been so kind as to allow me to stay at her place while I'm in town.

We had lunch on Thursday afternoon and were joined by Riverwind, bobbie and OBB. Walked around the Mall of Death for awhile and did some window shopping. Dinner at the "convent" was great with wonderful food, drink and conversation punctuate by the good "sisters" sense of humor.

Friday was a busy day starting with a late breakfast/early lunch with Danya, Jesus, Kristoff and Paolo. Afterwards Danya and I were off to do some sightseeing and a bit of real shopping for Danya. The afternoon gathering at Jesus' and Kithes was punctuate by good wine, snacks and some great conversation and discussion. It was good to see Uncle Flo again.

Dinner at Old County Buffet was not only good but was quite funny watching Paolo and Riverwind playing with their light saber's.

Saturday is the full meeting beginning with breakfast at Riverwind's. God only knows what the rest of the day holds in store.

Was a great time as always last night in the motel room and buffet. We are one strange but great group to be around. Talking to any person gives insight on your own self. I am off to breakfast. Hope the forecast is on the rain part is wrong. We do have some tents for protection.

Breakfast is underway at the "Mothership", although the old cruiser is now officially "drydocked." Can't wait for the pancakes to blow my blood sugar control into the next county!

Breakfast was fantastic. Riverwind does make the best pancakes in the world. All had as much as they could eat.

Had some rain in the morning. Sun came out a short time ago. Looks like it will be sunny and hot for a while.
