Re: birth control pills
I have been taking "phytoestrogens" from the health food store. Somehow I really do think that they have been making me feel more energetic. But how can you really be sure? Anyway their version of "phytoestrogens" (estrogens from plants) are actually narrowed down to "phytoestradiols" (female specific estrogens from plants). Scientically there can be a huge difference between the two but since I felt that I really needed to be taking something since I do not always eat my veggies as I should I have been taking those for the last month or so. I haven't noticed any feminizing effects from them since I think the doseage is low enough. But it may be that my body is employing every phytoestrogen it can get a hold of toward my heart and other vital organs too (malnourishment).

I was just reading the two stickies posted. The first one (about chemical castration) said that the effects are reversible after a short period but the second sticky says that the effects of estrogen and antiandrogens are irreversible even after a short period of time. I'm a little confused at the moment.
Also, I'm not interested in becoming a women. I interested in a reduction in penile size and decreased libido, erections, etc.

The answer is simple. It varies. On trans sites its expressed as YMMV, your milage may vary. I have known trans women who have taken hormones and blockers for several years and have almost no feminization. Others have had irreversible changes by 10-12 weeks. There is no way to know for certain ahead of time. So you buys your ticket and you takes your chances and you hopes for the best. This is not something you do on a whim. Do not go messing around with your hormones unless you have to. Doing so can drive you crazy (just like psychopathic PMS women) and even kill you. I have lost more than one friend to blood clots caused by hormones, and others to suicide from the depression that often goes with hormone swings.
