I like your Avatar!

There are a couple of "pricks" on opposite sides of the political spectrum here that I generally don't read very much of. (That is their avatars are a couple of pricks.) The reason being that when I'm at the public library or at the coffee shop I really do not want somebody looking over my shoulder and seeing me staring at a prick while I'm supposed to be reading. Technically it would be considered pornography, I suppose, although I don't agree with that assessment. But however I am in a public place and can't afford my own line at home. That aside I know that I could switch off all of the avatars and not look at any of them but instead I just avoid the couple "pricks" that are in here. I spend and have too much to read as it is so oh well, nothing lost. But that being said, believe it or not I really do take comfort that anybody can put whatever avatars they want to in here and that I could to if I wanted to too. It is better this way.

🙏

I don't think your avatar needs to represent you in some fundamental meaningful way, if it ends up doing that great but I think it's more important just to express yourself in some way that feels natural. Mine would have been a rotating gif with different pictures telling a story but as it turns out we can't use those here so I picked one image. You may recognize it from the cult film I Spit on Your Grave. It doesn't really say anything about the totality of me, just an image I think is powerful in a number of ways (certainly that part of the movie left its mark on me) and appropriate for the present company. :)

As you may notice, both of my avatars are gone for this moment.

As long as we are in a talking mode again, I like to pay my respect.

In no way I was feeling happy any moment to hurt people, most certainly not members of this board. But we should talk, we need a change.

After many things that were said, ( and they needed to be said)I think it is a good idea that we cool down. An avatar of mine will not help to do so, so this is my respect to you all: no avatar

But please, keep talking

I do love you all

That's no lie and not manipulating
