The Big Top sounds familiar, but I'm not sure. Was this in NYC?
Yes, on a second floor at Broadway at about 47th.

I remember one place with a small stage where one or two guys would put on a "show," surrounded by seats on three sides. The men in the audience often got into the act by doing their own things in full view. Once, I was just masturbating, when the guy next to me decided to give me a blow-job. Since the stage lights extended to the two rows of seats, everyone could watch, and I noticed that lots of people were watching me instead of the stage. I got into the spirit of show-biz, and became as loud and openly passionate as I could. Was this the Big Top? The same place had other rooms - one room with a Western theme, etc.
I don't think so, but these places would occasionally renovate and redecorate. What I recall of the Big Top was maybe a semicircular set of theatrical seating. To the right, facing the screen was a small snackbar in a foyer, and past the foyer was a dark room.
The screen was (well) hung from the ceiling, and one could use the area behind the screen for assignations. The banquette was off to the side in the front area.

Your experience sounds grand. I don't know if I could have taken it three times, especially at 20 minutes each! Well, like Nietzche wrote, "what doesn't kill us makes us stronger." You must have had a dick of steel. Congratulations!
Haha. Thanks. As a sub i seldom like(d) my dick being sucked. That's because most cocksuckers are taught "no teeth".
more addressed to your next post...

Wasn't the Big Top on the west side of 8th Avenue, between 42nd and 43rd streets? If we're talking about the same place, I only remember straight sex there. Maybe I missed something. The place I described in post #7 was right across the street, on the east side of that block, on the second floor. It was much lower profile than the Big Top. There was a guy on the street who asked you to come up if you looked suitably bent, and a small wall sign. There's now a fast food joint there, and I think the Big Top was replaced by a Duane Reed drugstore. Sob!
I recall seeing the theater you were talking about. It was one of the last to be closed b4 the area was Disneyfied. There was a gay porno theater very close to it, a big house like a medium sized movie theater. The Big Top, however was much smaller. Although I assume these theaters ahem... would come and go, the area there had a number of clubs and movie houses that remained for a number of years. The Pegasus, where sleazy boys danced naked on the bar, (I think I spent all of 30 minutes there) the Gaiety, which would host porn star appearances at times to try to maintain a slightly cleaner appearance, the Unicorn, which lasted a very short time... I didn't visit all the gay porno movie houses, mind you, just the ones where I thought I would have a good time. This quickly boiled down to the Big Top and for a while, there was one under a Christopher Street tenement house...
Oh wait, I think that big (het) port theater was the Show Palace. The gay equivalent also, I think, had "Show" in its name. Another gay theater name just came to me: The Follies. At some point, there was a theater between the Spike and the Eagle called The Glory Hole. There was a theater on West Street by Christopher that managed to stay open until 88 or so, and further south on West was Westworld, one of the most uncomfortable porno palaces ever...
I mainly headed for those places because I didn't have the guts to try the Spike, Eagle, or Mineshaft. (It only took two years to get over that.)

Yoli, there were sleazier theaters than the gay ones in Manhattan where, I think, you might have found everything you wanted... and picked up some contagious things you didn't want. I do like the instant STD tester idea. Can we try it on politicians first?
