Although the scar looks untidy, I went into the operation expecting a poor cosmetic result (after reading other members' accounts of their surgery), believing that this was a price worth paying for the elimination of testosterone. Everything has worked out as I was hoping: the appearance of the scar does not bother me at all and I am very glad to be free of testosterone.

Thank you to all the members of this board who were so supportive before the operation and during the early days of recovery.
