More likely he is looking for a pre-paid non-cancellable payment instrument. Both checks and commercial money orders are more risky; credit cards charge for the service and can reverse the charge for a large number of reasons. --FLO--

Dr. spector did the same with his payments. He just want to make sure he gets his money. I got Dr. Kimmel to take a check ahead of the surgery and allowed time for it to clear the bank. I also ordered hormones from him the same way.

That is a very good reason, I suppose. At least he doesn't get many no-shows that way either. Dr. Kimmel did tell me that he gets a lot of bogus phone calls where the caller is masturbating while talking to him!

Kangan, has your scrotum started to shrink yet? Once the swelling goes down and the drainage stops it will start to flatten out. Then the opening will close on its on. I speeded mine up by use a syringe to flush out the old blood using water. A urologist that I know recommended me do that in a tub of warm water just long enough to flush it out twice a day.

Well, update time...
My next urologist appointment is this Tuesday. I have been taking Cipro since the surgery on October 22nd. I am an EMT and I have followed everything all the doctors have said about hygeine and now still...
On top of all my other issues I am dealing with... I now have a bad infection

I am about to give up. I am trying to keep it together. I really hope this meeting with the urologist on Tuesday fixes this.
I think this is because the first urologist put neosporin INTO the wound. So, now I get to pay for his mistake. That on top of Kimmel's mistake(s).

Guys, I just want to say that an operation by a top surgeon rarely results in having to go to an ER afterwards to get further fixed up. Kimmel's sending a lot of people to the ER.
I realize that Kimmel is much better than a totally untrained, unlicensed cutter, but I would like to make sure that everyone who goes to him is fully prepared to go to E.R. afterwards. I think for many people, the idea of going to E.R. for this sort of thing is embarassing and I worry they might put it off (even a few hours can be life or death).
I have had many various surgeries in my life, all at good hospitals in urban areas, and have never had any complications. Complications should be the exception, not the norm.
It sounds like the whole scrotal removal part is what is causing a lot of this trouble. There is a reason why many urologist prefer the iningual method, even though it takes more work on their part.
Everyone, please take care!

Congratulations on this, at least!
Ashley, I sent you a PM. Did you get it? I realize it's off-topic from your current predicament, and you probably don't have any desire to talk about other things at the moment, but when this is all resolved (and it will be - don't give up), I'd love to hear from you.
