i had surgery done on my scrotum to fix some hernias twice

the first doctors stitches failed with in 2 days..the wound puckered and was a mess

the scrotum is extremely hard to stitch up

extreme care must be taken to ensure those stitches stay put

of all the guys here that had scrotum surgery....show of hands ...how many had problems with the stitches.???

the second doctor sewed me up so the stitches didn't show when he got done..i don't know how he did it..healed excellent

Six surgeries on mine produced absolutely no problems with external sutures. Once by Spector (at least his held ON THE OUTSIDE of the scrotum, not inside), twice to fix Spector's fuck ups, once to implant prostheses, and twice to deal with prostheses with them not working out right for me. Kimmel is sloppy, and there is no good excuse for that.

When I met Dr. Kimmel I thought him to be about 70 something. Most doctor's retire before then. I'm not sure what motivates Dr. Kimmel to keep castrating at his age, that's a good question isn't it? Does he really need the money? Does he feel compelled to help men or does he just like castrating men? I wish I could get inside his mind for a few minutes. Well, maybe not. I've got second thoughts. I'm with you on this one. The community needs more doctors willing to do orchiectomies on an elective basis. However, I think that Doctor Kimmel is dangerously inadequate.

From what research I have done, and Dr. Kimmel's own statements, his age is 73 or 74. He is definitely past his prime and really needs a younger understudy to take over and do the tricky parts of the surgery. My own opinion is that he should retire NOW.

I, too, have wondered about his motivation. Greed is definitely a possible motive, but I think it is more than that. I feel that Dr. Kimmel believes that he is performing a public service. There was a castration website called UCCN that mirrors Dr. Kimmel's beliefs and actions. UCCN claimed to be run by a former navy surgeon. Kimmel was also a navy surgeon. Is there a connection?

If Spector & Dr. Kimmel were/are willing to do castrations, then there has to be others who are willing. However, they need some motivation. What would motivate someone to do castrations?

Makes me almost wish I had gone to med school. What an interesting career helping set free all those testicles. But alas all I did was computer stuff. I do wonder what happens to them after they are removed. I know if they are removed for medical reasons they slice and dice them and do all kinds of exams on the contents. Do you get to keep them? If not just what happens to them? Kind of a gross question, with perhaps a gross answer, but I haven't seen anyone discuss their final destination.

With so many people in this world one would think that somewhere out there would be a trained female doctor who had in her this hidden desire, or hidden revenge, who would be more than willing to accommodate; a desire so strong that the insurance and legal issues would not get in her way.

As it is these days the best way to get them orbs removed is if they are diagnosed as having a tumor. I've always thought of them as two tumors that should be removed, like tonsils, since I discovered what they were doing to me. Now if the good doctor, or friend of the doctor, owned a lab, I suppose one might be able to get a diagnosis of a tumor, which would help one obtain a proper operation. But of course such activity would be fradulent and put those in charge at great risk, so that's not likely. A flight to India might soon be the only way to get it done.

You brought up an interesting subject. The reality has to be, that at least one female doctor in the U.S. would have a secret desire to castrate men. Finding her and introducing her to our community is the difficulty. I suggest we brainstorm and figure out a way of doing this. Perhaps we can entice a female doctor to do what Kimmel does. It would be great if we could enlist Kimmel to at least help us. I can't understand why he wouldn't want to help, unless he thinks he can continue doing this forever. Certainly a letter sent out by him would be more widely accepted.

Surely there has to be a lesbian surgeon who has this desire. The desire to castrate is key. Since there are several transgendered doctors (Dr. Bowers in Colorado, Dr. McGinn in Pennsylvania) doing transgender surgery, why don't we pursue them first.

What about preparing a professional looking letter using medical vocabulary that each of us could send out to as many female urologists, surgeons, gynecologists, etc. I know, I know, what would it say? Who should write it?

Based on recent postings, having Dr K castrate you is a risky process. Since I heard he has been doing this for 50 years I suspect he is in his early 80s. You may be in a group that gets a fine result, but you certaily don't want to be in the other group. I appreciate his support of our interest, but now seems to be the time to pass the Scalpel. What do we do now?

Dr. Kimmel claims to be 73 or 74. He could be 83 or 84. His age doesn't really matter much, as it is his lack of coordination that is the problem.

Hash has the right idea, but the implementation of it could be a problem.

I'm planning to explore some ways to find another doctor, but I fear that this will take some time.
