Thanks. I'll have a look. I know there's the John the eunuch series, but I think probably there just detective books set in olden times and with a eunuch for a gimmick.

The only story I read off-site that was in any way eunuch themed was Vampire Junction.

In it a 12 year old rock star, is actually a 2000 year old vampire. The description of his transformation from innocent slave to Vampiric predator includes his castration by the more powerful elder vampires that sought immortality. One of the ingredients they needed to perform their spell, was his virgin boy parts. One of the main character's triggers for transforming into the vampire beast is when people realize he is a eunuch.

It is really more of a horror story, but I can envision it being right at home here on the EA.

I'm not sure that I like horror, but I might try and look it up. Most of the stories on the archive are just about the castration and not about eunuchs exactly. It's why I'm looking for real books that tell a whole story.

"Now acknowledged as one of the most important classics of twentieth-century gothic literarture, S.P. Somtow's tale of a twelve-year-old rock star vampire, his Jungian analyst, and the Wagnerian conductor who is his nemesis turned the entire genre upside down in the 1980s and is considered the ancestor of the "splatterpunk" movement. Vampire Junction has been voted one of the top forty horror books of all time. Timmy Valentine: "He'll steal your heart - and have it for breakfast!" 21st anniversary edition of this unforgettable classic of high-intensity horror."

'splatterpunk!' No thanks. :(

I just finished reading one of the 'John the eunuch' mystery stories. Someone said they were a bit dull, but No. 4 was only 99c, so I tried it.

I really enjoyed it. It was a mystery first, and a thriller, but John is a very interesting character. His past is only hinted at, how he became a slave and a eunuch, but it appears that he was castrated when he was a man not a boy. I like books about eunuchs, but I like them better when they're not only about him being a eunuch. There should be a real story, and these ones seem to have a real story.

I'm reading 'One for Sorrow' now. Another John the Eunuch book. I like them. They're good stories with the added interest of a eunuch as the hero and there are quite a few. Im going to buy the next one as a paperback, to add to my small collection of eunuch books.

Does anyone know waht 'Memoirs of a Byzantine Eunuch' is like?

I think a lot of the old Speculum pages are here:

http://www.zity.biz/docs/english/

I transcribed "The Diabolical Nurse" from a book called "Subdued By Her"and posted it somewhere on-line and it's now on this site, I'm happy to report. It's not a castration story, but a strap-on story, and for many, being sodomized with a strap-on is deliciously akin to castration.

I don't read this zity.biz site, or any other. I don't have the patience to wade through all the, er, chaff.

Chris Bellows has written a couple castration themed porn books but they tend to be crude hack jobs.

It's a shame that the "new stories" function here at the Archive hasn't been restored yet, but that's life I guess. There would occasionally be some fairly hot stuff.

With all the emphasis on eunuchs it might almost be nice to have the Archive divided into two sections, one for castration sexual fetishists and one for those seeking to pursue a eunuch lifestyle. From what I know, this site was originally created for sex freaks like me. But not in any exclusive way, of course.

I don;t think I'm a sex freak in a big way - just a little bit. I've almost stopped trying to read the stories in the eunuch archive, as too often, they're too much for me.

Not sure if this has been posted, or if it's an author present in the archive, but I found this collection yesterday while browsing through ASSTR's FTP site, the author list... there are thousands listed, and one never knows where one might find a gem or two.

This particular author seems to have 'castration' and 'nullification' listed as a theme on at least the first few stories. They seem to be all adult-oriented. None are particularly up my alley, but they may very well be right up yours. (Ha! I just said 'up yours'!).

Enjoy...
