A fence guy came by today offering to put up a new fence for my driveway. I told him to grab wood from the back yard that Monty had taken from dumpsters and trash piles and stored in my backyard without my expressed permission. As the guy was looking through the wood, Monty verbally harassed the guy threatening the fence guy with violence.

I offered to call the police in case the fence guy wanted to press charges against Monty. The fence guy declined saying, "if Monty bothers me again, I'll cold-cock him."

NOTHING makes one quite as vulnernable than discovering one's house has been burglarized. Today, I awoke to see a burglar entering my bedroom closet. I recognized him right away as a street person known for petty crimes. The burglar is called Hamburger. I have no idea what his real name is.

AS it turns out, nothing was missing. Apparently, Hamburger broke in to hide from guys trying to kill him. It seems he owes $$$ to some important people.

I called the police and an officer came out promptly to take the report.

Then again, since I have long hair and a long beard, maybe I can fake being an Arab If I can just get the accent correct on my "masallam"

To be honest, I'm glad I live as far from Cali as I do I did pass through a couple years back during the wildfires and got to see an entire hill on fire in the distance but combining driving + trying to take a picture at night didn't work well, the picture didn't come out cept for a tiny orange blob and the date stamp :/ I'm surprised Monty didn't start barking at the guy tho

Perhaps its time you get a new dog. something big and nasty that makes lots of noise.

I was offered a Rottweiler but said no.

Good idea except for one small thing, I can barely afford to feed me and the two cats, let alone a dog the size of a small horse,
