I smoked up until the last major tax hike (Apr 2009) I was gonna switch to the e-cigg but on the day I started with it, I nearly coughed out a lung on the first puff, I threw the e-cigg across the room and that was the end of smoking for me.

Kimi - TheOtherSide switched from menthol cigarettes to e-cigs and he loves it. Different strokes for different folks I guess. I enjoy my pipe.

HOORAY, my small check arrived to save me from a nicotine breakdown

My tobacconist gave me 10 pounds of Bright Virginia tobacco for free. Bright Virginia tastes lousy in a pipe so I bought a bag of aromatic tobacco from Walgreens. I mix two ounces of Virginia with one ounce of aromatic and I get a tolerable smoke

It rained all day yesterday but stopped last night. It was followed by the coldest winds I have felt since arriving one cold winter at Flint Airport in Michigan.

About 5:00 am the heater went off in my bedroom. I assumed it was a power outage caused by the winds. I got dressed and discovered other lights were on. The ones out are two in my bedroom, two in y d en and one bathroom light. I reset the circuit breakers but no change?????

It's only 36 degrees but that's cold to moi. It's probably t-shirt weather to Kristoff.

After talking with Ken_SD this morning, I believe I blew a circuit breaker. Until I can afford to get it fixed, I can use an extension cord to get heat for my bedroom and I used alternative plugs in my den to get a working light and my mini-heater working. The light in the bathroom I can do without for a while.

You may want to push the breaker fully on then turn off and back on again. Think some may need the turn on for a reset. May want to check all the breakers. Turn each one off then back on again. Would be very good idea to turn off your computer first.

Most extension cords you find around the house are 16 gauge. The maximum current is only 13 amps not the 15 - 20 amps your circuit breaker could be. The total watts for the cord is around 1500 watts. If the extension cord is a 3 wire the maximum current is only 10 amps 1100 watts. Over loading the cord will give your house a real electric heater (the whole house)

Unplug things and turn that breaker off and on a few times.
