Oh I would so love to do that but tonight the sky is clear.

One of the wonderful things about living here, when it rains you can go walking in it, its a nice warm rain.

Our few weeks of possible rain has evolved into the

June Gloom without a peek a boo Sun effect.

Blame the Blob.

Crops generally doing poorly.

Poor peaches. Apricots small and hard and turning orange, red - not yellow.

Only the Boysenberry is doing fantastic while Raspberry and Blackberry barely thriving.

More News at 11.

Nearly June 1 and :-|

June Gloom

is being invoked by the babe on local News Weather. πŸ‘…

She has said it 4 times so far and the πŸͺ† BROADcast has not ended.

Maybe rain next Saturday.

The Boysenberries, and Peter's Honey Fig are the only happy crops.

The onions don't know whether to flower, go dormant or keep growing in the same garden beds and across the yard.

The Royal Apricots on only half the tree were small, dry but - still sweet and apricoty.

HELP: Should Asparagus be pruned in any manner before Autumn spears appear ? ?

The June Gloom is so thick

How Thick

The June Gloom is so thick I run the A/C to get the moisture out of the house.

There is some light rain and thunderstorms around, just not by the coast.

Hoping you are all having a Weatherful time as the Summer Solstice will soon be upon us.

Then we go into the darkness, together - unless one travels south of the equator.

Some eleven days to go before the Great Sol Globe descends in Time Square as throngs go wild declaring,

nay, exclaiming - Happy Summer Solstice.

In a week,

The Summer Solstice

ARE You Prepared?

Weather is as above.

What is Weatherful about June Gloom is it obstructs the heat.

Sometimes it lasts well into July, sometimes hardly a week in late May.

Coming Up in 1 Week

June Gloom vs Summer Solstice

will light prevail? πŸ˜„

ppssst, RiverLava - REMEMBER! 6/21 :)

Today was a brighter day.

Not dry, but not gray and mostly June Gloom.

It was a wake up early, cheery day.

Inland from Moi, I hear there is some "heat".

Don't worry about low melting point, Moi.

It is cooler here on the bluff, 1 mile from the ocean.

I drove back from downtown Pittsburgh today in a pounding rain.

It was one of the few times that I drove the entire highway at 45 mph in the slow lane and still had my wheel spin on so much water underneath them. Miserable drive,
